The Shell is basically a HD version of Kara no Shojo, basically there's no reason to buy Kara no Shojo. just buy The Shell.
But you need to install patch manually because The Shell removed the adult content from original Kara no Shojo, even if you don't mind the sexual part it'll still cut a lot content without patch.

Hello sorry to bother you, I just wanted to ask if by chance you know the difference between The Shell and Kara no Shojo?
