CS2 is ♥♥♥♥

Review a while later:

It really pains me to write this.
In no particular order:

constant crashing
horrific ranking system
even more cheaters somehow
from 250+ FPS to 60 FPS at times
horribly blatant copying from Valorant, lost it's entire identity
servers not being available
gunplay feels worse
worse movement
downgraded maps
worse gameplay to cater towards visuals
limited buy menu for some reason
I hate the tracers
I hate my legs
constant bugs
hits not connecting
pro play being way less enjoyable
12-rounds to eternally please adhd-kids who don't have an attention span
sounds suck or are confusing
a horribly rushed release
huge content and map cuts
thousands of fun gamemodes, custom maps and community content just gone
skins look worse
scam- and gambling sites being way too lucrative to do anything about
no accessibilty to CSGO at all (if we are blatantly honest, literally noone would play CS2 if CSGO was still accessible)
who thought it was a good idea to remove flags when searching for teammates
horrific matchmaking with 7+ people speaking russian, not communicating or having no clue how this game even works
no friends to play with anymore because everyone dropped it

This is it. I was a diehard CSGO fan, I loved everything about it. When CS2 got announced, I was hyped more than anything. They really blew it. From the lackluster release up to now, I always gave them the benefit of the doubt, I always tried to get back into it. It truly is one of the biggest disappointments I got to experience in my life. This is it.

It's just really sad what this game has become. I literally write this with tears in my eyes because there are so many great memories and friends I associate with this game. It really was a part of me.
Coming back from school to play CSGO with your friends, Getting my buddy's AK redline because I bought him food once, getting scammed on some random third party site as a 14-year old because I wanted to do these trade-up challenges, joining a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ clan with wonderful people to try to get better, learning nade lineups until 3am to instantly forget most of them, all the randoms I connected with along the way, all the clutches I shadowplayed thinking I was the next S1mple. Creating a second account and sharing it with my friends, all the hours playing hide-and-seek, my word-file where I wrote down all the dream inventories I wished I could affort, all of my favorite YouTubers and Pro-Players. Dropping to Silver Elite Master which unironically became a long lasting meme within my friendgroup, to then finally reach Global after 2000+ hours. I even wanted to tattoo the bomb code on my arm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

And it all got taken away from me just like that. It's so over, my life has peaked a long time ago.

I don't care if you call me old-fashioned, I don't care if CS2 is plenty successful, I don't care about any other opinion, the game is dead to me.

At long last, goodbye CSGO.
