This game is entirely too slow, and has no way to speed anything up (especially the slow capture animations).

One of the best games I've played in years, and it's amazingly fun without a lick of combat.

Despite the bugs I love it.

It's fun with friends and if you don't take it too seriously. It's easier to say, "Don't get caught up in the Skinner's box," than it is to not get caught in it.

13 years, and it's still my favorite RPG. The various permutations of the clans give you many ways to play the game, although I'll concede some violent encounters can't be avoided. However, if you're a fan of any RPG that gives choices, action, or even the old tabletop game VTMB is always worth a shot.

It doesn't have as many mods (good or otherwise) as vanilla, but it's still a great way to lose a Saturday. The combat is still ass, but the mods more than make up for it.

After playing through the betas, and buying on release I can't suggest this game to anyone in its current muddied state. I'm aware it oft gets compared to Overwatch, but aside from being FPS character shooters they're trying for two different things.

Pros:
* 25 characters in total, w/ 5 more as DLC
* Standard GBX humor (a definite plus for me)
* Fun, albeit short, story mode.
* Really fun, moba-lite PVP modes.

Cons:
* Major patches for PC are tied to their certification for consoles, and only come once a month.
* Unlocking characters can be a bit of a grind.
* Grinding to unlock a specific character's legendary:
** This is due to some rather insane lore challenges for spefific chacters (killing a specific character 25 times, gliding for 3 hours, etc), or:
** The painful hump of taking a character to level 15.
* Limited inventory space.
* The RNG being legendary gear's statistics (think runes from otehr movas)
* A monetized shop in the game before any concrete news on the release of DLC.
* The general lack of news for the game.
* The shrinking player base: this may seem as if it's not the fault of GBX, but several early miscues have seemingly killed off the PC playerbase.
* The finaly story missions are a bit on the boring side as they're simply point defenses.
* General lack of information on future content aside from the motentized shop at the time of this review.

Warframe is one of the few games in the last decade that is exactly what the trailers advertised. Intense, fast-paced action with friends (or strangers) where you obliterate everything that stands before you. The controls are tight and responsive, and the asthetics are nothing short of beautiful at times. However, some planets/areas do tend to get far too samey to get much out of them, but the missions are usually short enough that it won't wear on you too much. There are a plethora of weapons and characters to create or buy, and most things are easily accessible without paying a dime.
