Alright, I love this game but I cannot recommend it in it's current state due to a list of reasons

First things first, for Deceit 2 cap the party limit to 3 players. 4 player private matches are in the game and they work, plus with the new 9 player mode allow up to 5 players to queue. Prioritise location over MMR. Thanks 👍

Now onto the massive text wall. Devs decided to split the playerbase (again) by making a massive content update much bigger in size and turning it into a second game that will most likely run on the exact same engine with the same maps and gamemode but with all of the planned announced content for Deceit 1 that was supposed to come out this year and slapping a price tag onto it.


The devs then announced that they will be showcasing the game nearly a month ago at twitch con but due to "staff covid restrictions" delayed the announcement with the announcement date being (soon). They also decided to hand game moderation over to a select few players including some specific extremely toxic players (coincidentally) after one of their in game moderators was exposed for a small amount of se*ual degeneracy by another player which they had been duo teaming with for around 1000 games constantly inno teaming and being somewhat toxic (mostly not so toxic honestly)

The moderators then decide to ban me shortly after all of this for nearly by 8TH ban this time for "toxic behaviour" 2 days after I had not even played the game and stated my ban reason through discord to me as "harassment". They've also done the classic moderator punishment where they give you a 3 day ban for something such as toxic behaviour then instantly as your ban expires ban you for your name without any warning instead of stacking your ban.

I suspect one of the moderators on the team is the one behind 90% of my bans and i've even been banned on an alternate account for downing him after he false framed an innocent and making an extremely obvious joke (even laughing) that I only voted him because he was a moderator when in reality, he was shooting a player down with no evidence to indicate that person was infected (and was himself, in fact, infected.) After sending the evidence of the false butthurt mod's pathetic loser of an excuse to suspend my account, the moderation team halved my ban. A 1 and a half day ban for you guessed it, a harmless joke and winning the game.

I have been informed that I'm at risk for a perma ban from Deceit despite having 2 of my bans (reduced). I am not saying most of my many bans were not valid, but for the moderators to count the invalid bans towards if or if not I am perma banned is absolute garbage.

So yeah, I hope the new community managers understand that this was the state of the moderation team early this year and that not only were most of my bans were not even borderline bannable, but I've encountered so many worse players that I have reported with no response for things that are obviously bannable (Mic spamming, probably over 200 reports against teamers, Racial slurs, Homophobic slurs or discriminatory harassment, encouraging suicide, ect.) are all things I run into in about 33% of my games.
