I have 1100 hours on the steam version as well as 1400 on the Xbox version.

This game is truly a unique pirate experience. It has the best water detail I've ever seen in a game. The game suffers from lack of content after the 1st couple weeks of a new season. Unless you are hunting for commendations or love to pvp you're gonna burn out quick. Casual pirates be warned, these seas are not friendly.

Now for the bad. The past few season drops have been great for new content, but they almost always cause performance issues or a bug of an existing mechanic. At the time of this review Hourglass doesn't work and was disabled by Rare.
