I have spent 28 hours on this game (at time of writing this review) and I can safely say that it's worth it.


I gotta say, when I first tried it out, I hated it. Things made no sense, money was so weak or I kept making so many mistakes, but after a while the Game grew on me. Since I've started, I've made plenty of progress within the game and even earned a fair few achievements by completing is in a short time, aswell as surviving for a while. I will earn the 100 days achievement one day though.

I've also contriubted to the kingdomthegamewiki a whole bunch too, so if anyone stumbles upon it, they can hopefully take advantage of the knowledge I have earned and use it wisely for themself.

8.9/10, could use a few fixes here and there, but a mighty fine game (especially for a 2d sidescroller)

(Update: Around 24/36 hours after posting this review, I played again with a different strategy and beat the 100 day mark! Love this game)

I've always loved games where "making choices now will affect the future of the playthrough" and this is a great game that potrays it well. Highly recommend it.

P.s: I managed to do the good version of the "End of Episode 2" choice. Not saying the choice due to spoilers. But that was one hell of a twist :3

Love this game! I bought it a while ago when I saw a friend of mine play it. I found it hard at first, always messing up with the options, failing to fight etc... But after a while, I got a feel for it. Little things like flodding certain sectors when attacked and choosing certain options that may not seem appealing, but have a great effect.

I would happily recommend this game, but I'd suggest not to give up at the first hurdle! :D

(P.s: when FTL also released the free DLC for extra ships and characters, it increased my playtime and added a lot of extra featurs. Even more happiness and joy)
