TRI: Of Friendship and Madness is a puzzle platformer where you manipulate 3 surface vertices to create 3D triangles to traverse levels in creative ways.

That said this is one of the most challenging and thought provoking puzzle games I've ever played. Some of the later levels took me up to 2 hours to complete and sometimes I had to pull up a walkthrough video. After seeing the walkthrough I realized it was just me being too dumb to think of the solution since they were never really complicated. If you thought Portal or Antichamber were difficult then you may get stuck for a while on TRI. Even though the game is challenging it's very forgiving by allowing you to quick save and load at any point so just think of it like having an emulator save state function.

I highly recommend this gem if you want to have fun being creative with game mechanics, if you love ambient or space bending art styles, minimalist stories and playing at your own pace. Also this album goes perfect with this game for getting brain juices flowing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwSLrkQrXQk
    Pros:
  • The game is challenging for those who like that
  • The art style is soothing and consistent
  • There are no time limits on levels and you have infinite retries
  • The platforming element is never too demanding
  • The narrator character, although not an A-list voice actor, is charming in his own ways
  • There are extra challenges for bonus content if you feel the main game doesn't have enough content
  • If you're a fan of speedrunning this may be up your alley as it has in game functionality for that
  • There is a small amount of sequence breaking/cheesing you can do if you're into that for puzzle games
  • Puzzles take advantage of multiple elements such as: triangle platforms, gravity shifts, light/laser direction, teleporting, passable/impassable barriers, temporal loops, physics objects, invisible structures and more
    Cons:
  • Some levels have tedious trial and error solutions that suck a lot of time
  • There are very few hints to the solutions to problems so if you get really stuck you may have to look up what to do
  • The music and narrator aren't the best quality so you may be irritated by that
  • The story isn't very impactful to the gameplay so don't expect Metal Gear Solid levels of interaction
  • If you don't pay attention to your saves you may end up having to load from much earlier in the level which can be frustrating due to having to replace triangles in precise locations
  • Replay value isn't substantial if you don't care about bonus developer material or don't want to sink time into solving certain puzzles again

Bought this the day of release because the trailer alone resparked my love for classic platformers such as Megaman, Kirby, Ninja Gaiden, Metroid among others.

This game is exactly what Mighty Number 9 should have been and more without any of the disappointment.

There is literally 175 different combinations of weapons for BOTH the main characters. If you thought Kirby 64 had some fun combos you'll be flipping out every other level. And that's not counting the special solo weapons and buff pickups.
One of my favorites is ZA WARUDO

Speaking of the levels each one feels fresh enough to not feel repetitive but also has a smooth difficulty ramp up.
The cyber world and destructible environments are a treat to look at and play through and are just as animated as the characters.

Boki plays like your classic Megaman jump and shoot while Savant can fly, teleport and manipulate windows that attack for him, because of that you can go through the story multiple times and still have fun.

I spent $9 on this and haven't had one shred of regret and am looking forward to all the updates and extra content. :)

A fighting game made by fighting game fans for fighting game fans.
It has heavy influence from Marvel vs Capcom series with elements of Guilty Gear and BlazBlue thrown in.
The game is constantly updated in the endless beta and has a solid netcode that is adjustable.
Each character is unique and has their own strengths and weaknesses.
This is the perfect entry level fighting game, with a high skill ceiling that stomps on scrubs
It also has dank memes :^)

If you don't know what "LP, MP, SP, LK, MK, SK" mean in the tutorial and you are too dumb to learn, go back to CoD or Minecraft.
If you don't have a controller to play this game, go buy one. If you don't want to buy one and complain about the keyboard controls then git gud.
Nothing in the game is cheap or broken, you just suck

This game's depth comes from the skill of the player.

If you play this game like any other brawler then it will feel about as fun as any other brawler to you; only mashing attacks is not the answer.

If you can fully grasp the controls and how fluid they are, then you can truly unleash a fantastic mess of action anime extremism and have a hell of a time doing it too.

I recommend this game to anybody who likes the combat in the Devil May Cry series, Darksiders, God of War, and Metal Gear rising, but also are familiar with fighting games such as Street Fighter, King of Fighters, Guilty Gear and BlazBlue.

I just wish it had online support ;^;

This game combines elements from so many different games but stands out to be it's own and to have it's own style. All the maps and battlefields can drastically change causing for a fresh guessing game of when and where people are going to pop out of the ground or walls to shoot you in the face. You can do the same though and dig large tunnels to sneak up and catch the enemy off guard. This game at least deserves your attention if not your buy.

Amazing for its cost and definitely worth the buy. Severely underrated gem that's a very unique fps experience with really fun classes. Some people still call this better than the newer AVP game out.

A mix of Silent Hill, Doom, Resident Evil, and John Carpenters' The Thing. It's got everything a horror game needs. It actually scared me which is hard to do for a game.
