Absolutely love the game, its a fantastic game that combines all my favorite aspects of RTS.

However, the game needs a large investment in the dlc's for the true experience to be available, the current must-haves are Utopia and Megacorp, the upcoming federations dlc is looking like its going to join that list. So to actually get even close to the true experience of the game you would need to invest.... 40 + 20 + 20 + 20 = 100 EURO to play it. I personally don't think any game is worth that much but here I am having spent 130+ euro on the game...............

Buy it in the sale, it is necessary to buy the dlc's for the true experience doesn't matter what others say, you can play the game without but you will be missing out on a lot of very good content.
