Well, its visually cute with nice, totally not sterotypical archetypes characters, doing nice thigns to eachother. Like all friends, they can quarrel, and unfortunately not everyone deals with that in the same way.

Allusions aside, the warnings are there for a reason, this game is not very pleasant beyond first part; it goes full suffering, both mental and physical, and end of first route hit very close to a person i know, bar the final scene. If you can deal with that, then youre in for a ride, besides its not that long so you might aswell!

If you've played the console version and liked that, then for sure get the port as it is definitively superior. If you have not played it before however, you should know what you're getting into. Dragons Dogma is an open world RPG, where you get to explore many fairly similar yet minutely distinct environments. The combat is very varied between the 9 vocations available, the games version of classes, which are almost freely switchable between, Whether you're melee or ranged, you have both physical and magical options which are both mechanically and visually distinct, with magic oft being the more visually spectacular, but not necesarilly satisfying option. The world itself has a lot of lore built into it, though it is hardly something pressed to the forefront; in general plot points beyond the major ones are kept relatively quiet. That said, the game does give a lot more if one explores at the right times, the right times being before a quest expires, as the game does make a fair few side quests, and even a few main ones, missable. These are however of course doable in NG+, something most people are like to partake in.

While gameplay remains essentially the same as in the first game, a lot has been added and improved upon. There's a fair few new tank types, one which has the startling feature of disabling modules, making just having an individual unit with infinite attack area often less viable, and the 3 DLC making up the Great Cavern has a bunch of varied scenarios for fighting. Gameplay is tense, music is good, story is mostly fun, yet disturbingly dark at times. If you haven't played the first i suggest getting them both, if you played and enjoyed the first one, then you NEED ALTeR.

Very fun game, with a lot of visual variety and with enemies and bosses so that you frequently need to rethink your strategies and not just spam the same attacks every battle. Also has a lot of content, with optional extra hard content which is also quite enjoyable.

This DLC is rather interesting, in how it ramps up the difficulty of the base game by a LOT. Theres a lot of rather interesting combat scenarios though, and a sorta fun stealth bit. Beware though, if you dont have any casters then you are probably not going to get past the first bit. Also make sure to save BEFORE starting.

When i first backed this game during the kickstarter i just thought it looked like it had a cool art style and some neat gameplay. Now that i have gotten to play it for a good bit of time, i have found it to be really really great. Attacks all feel like they have some serious force behind them, the storyline so far is interesting, and the build possibilities many. I look forward to the full release, but can already now fully recommend it.

"Fire a gorrillion missiles to destroy lots of smaller spacecrafts whilst dealing with torpedoes and bigger spacecraft". Thats the gist of it. Is it good? Well, i think its great.
