I got this game for $1 just like everybody else, and I still feel like I got scammed. I didn't even get to play it, and I still think the 3 minutes and 30 seconds I spent in the main menu were some of the worst moments of my life. First of all, when I started the game it was preset to 1280x720 30FPS. small gripe, whatever, I can just change it right? NOPE. as soon as you attempt to change LITERALLY ANYTHING in the settings the game will crash as soon as you click "New Game". Tried various stuff online like editing files and changing certain other settings etc, nothing worked. The game is permanently locked at 720p 30fps otherwise I can't play it. And even 'IF' this game were to run properly, did you know that the framerate is capped at 60FPS no matter what? I have an RTX 4080 so I could easily run this game at max settings and still get like 120FPS. This is a Racing game, why the hell is it capped at 60FPS!?

TLDR you get what you pay for. I would say you might as well burn your singular dollar instead of spending it on this game, but that's a felony so just go donate it to charity instead,

Hey there Modifyed! I am very sorry to hear that you're also running into this crashing problem. This issue has been reported and our teams are already looking into it further for us. If you don't mind, I'd like to test some workarounds that other players confirmed helped them to bypass the crash, but if this still occurs even with them completed, I want to make sure your account gets documented. Let's start with these first:

Workaround 1
- Deactivate the "Toggle recommendation" setting in the game settings menu

Workaround 2
- Go to https://account.ubisoft.com/en-GB
- Then to "Account Information"
- Go down until finding "Linked accounts"
- Click "unlink" for unnecessary accounts/platforms

If you get through those and this crash STILL happens, please open a new support case[www.ubisoft.com] so that we'll be able to follow up with you directly. Once your support case is open, including the following will save time:

- List the steps we tested in the issue description
- Which game version are you using?
- What was the exact date this last affected your game?
- Attach your system files[www.ubisoft.com] and launcher log[www.ubisoft.com]
