I see now why this is said to possibly the best game ever invented (so far). Not just graphics, but gameplay, character involvement, replayability, "your choices matter" to outcomes (even including loading in saves from Witcher 1 into Witcher 2 into this one!), sidequests, upgradable character/armor/weapons...etc..etc...
It's almost a decade old, and STILL can hold it's own with games out NOW. Try it!!!! (I play on PC, so I don't know about console issues if any).
