Early Access Review
Only around 5 hours of content to 100% what's currently available on a single, non-HC, character (at start of EA).

The foundation is alright, I never really felt the need to utilise much overlap between the class choices - it tended to be better to just continually double down within a single class.

The damage pacing in combat can err on feeling too 'spikey' at times for how gradual the combat tends to be by comparison.

It's probably a solid 6.5-7/10 atm, worth a recommend, but you're also not going to miss anything by waiting until 1.0.

No update or hotfix since 22/12/2022 - Lack of any meaningful communication from devs as of 22/01/2023.

Keep repeatedly being told, "more info next week" over and over since the CM's aren't being permitted to communicate in any meaningful capacity.

It might be a great game in a year, but right now it lacks any system to meaningfully direct character growth at lvl 30 outside of RNG. as the crafting system is *still* incomplete after launching into early access in November.

Core of the game is solid.

Battle pass system needs more "generalist" missions instead of forcing you into playing in abnormal ways purely to attempt milestones. Often actively not working towards winning a game just to tick off a box for the week. Doesn't help that unless you have a "Win X games" mission active, there isn't an actual incentive to win a match aside from shortening the match time.

The point should be to coincide with gameplay, not warp it.

Alternate completion milestones might be nice too, eg. League of Legends runs it as objectives like:
> Win 1 game or play 3 games
> Earn 35 points (5 per win, 2 per loss)

Perhaps more cosmetic rewards on the "free" side of the pass instead of just the exp/reroll boosts.
