Ok so hear me out for a second, broccolis were selectively bred by humans in order to enlarge the flower and make it more tasty, yet broccoli aren't really a tasty plant as their smell and taste resembles the one of a fart. So, what could make someone want to taste a fart? My theory is that back in the stone age when farming was spreading around the world people's kinks were much different from the ones of today's industrialized society and mostly due to the lack of hygiene and the higher masculinity of women a majority of the population were fart enjoyers. This explains why broccoli were selected in order to have a strong fart flavor and why so many people today hates them.
