The Seven Realms - Realm 2: Pythonium Review

Demons & Witches
Pythonium: The Realm of Demons and Witches. Return to the story once again for the second chapter of The Seven Realms, continuing the story as our main protagonists enter their first other realm: Pythonium.

Follow this thrilling, fantasy, story-driven visual novel. Get excited. Get intrigued. Get sad. Get lustful. Watch the eye-touching surroundings and incredible animations.

A real treat both for the eyes and the mind.

Story
Chapter/Realm Two – Pythonium:
The second chapter opens with Lucius and Atlas engaging in friendly combat while training in the forest.

The battle takes a quick turn after Lucius, ruling the fight, suddenly sinks to his knees, coughing. It was all Ophelia's fault; she took more energy from him than he pretended to have left after she escaped and left him in a vulnerable state.

He was not to let anyone know about this, not even Atlas at first, but after collapsing in front of him, there was no hiding it anymore, and he asked Atlas to keep it quiet.
Shortly after, headed back for a meeting with our protagonists.

They got informed that the door to the other realm would be fixed shortly as they found the issue and that our protagonists were to visit in the king’s place since it was his condition.

Our main reason for traveling to Pythonium is for the sake of a trinket that can seek down anyone with Witch blood and find a way to help The Sprite King.

To find Ophelia and put a stop to her before she goes and does something terrible again. And to obtain a potion to replenish The Sprite King’s powers.

This is just the tip of the iceberg; continue the story for yourself and experience the wonderful creation and incredible-looking scenes that chapter two holds.
It’s a deep, story-driven, thrilling visual novel that anyone would love.

Main Menu/Extras
In the main menu the player can find the EXTRAS tab where you’ll find:

I’m using most of the same text that was used in the first review for Terran, since the two games have the exact same main menu, extras, music/audio, etc.
The only major difference will be the text for the visuals, as they greatly improve in the second game/realm 2.

I’m bringing this up so it's explained if the review seems copied by the earlier one (which I wrote as well), all just so there aren’t any confusions. Enjoy!

Glossary
Within the Glossary we can find information tabs for “Species,” “Realms,” and “Key Terms.”

The Species tab: contains short texts of information about each species within the first chapter: Vampire, Werewolf, and Human.

The Realms tab: contains all the seven realms, but unfortunately in the second game, we can only obtain the information for the first and second realms. (Since you need the base game/realm 1 to play the second game/realm 2)

The Key Terms tab: explains a few words like Bond Mates, Compulsion, and Alpha/Beta/Luna Wolf. Most of these words will also be explained in the story.

The story’s dialogues are put together very well and explain detailed information in the most casual and understanding way.
That way the reader also learns and understands if they did not already know.

Trophies
Within Trophies, there are seven tabs/books. Books one & two would be unlocked since both the games are contained within one game, as the second one is a DLC.

Each Trophy book contains the chapters/realms achievements that can be unlocked within the story. You can see what achievements you have unlocked and the names of which ones you haven’t unlocked yet.

Gallery
The gallery has the same concept; you’ve got seven tabs where every sensual/intimate action is unlocked after reaching each scene.

Depending on what your decisions within the story are, you can unlock different outcomes in scenes.
Each intimate action is displayed in cards with the image of the start or mid-way into the intimate fun.

Favorites – Music – Credits
The other three tabs are “Favorites,” which are images from certain scenes that the player has hearted, saved in Favorites, and can be seen again.

“Music,” which contains the list of every single music there is within the game. And the unlocked music can be replayed from the lobby.

“Credits” is just the game credits, the developer, the animator, the music & sound people, and the usual information.

Realms & Chapters
I own Realm 1 and its DLC, Realm 2, allowing me to see the informational text about Realm 2, its “Trophies/Achievements,” and its “Gallery.”

But I do also own Realm 3, but since it is a separate game, the informational tab only says, “We will reveal more information on High Lathión at a later date.” which might get updated since their game is out.

Then it’s not only that; the trophies and gallery are locked. I haven’t looked at or even opened Realm 3 yet, so I’m unsure if it will unlock within the first game. Or if it will simply unlock within the game on its own but keep Realm 1 and 2 locked.

Visual & Audio
Visuals
Animations, visual textures, and realistic details have greatly advanced in Realm 2 compared to Realm 1.

The amazing camera movement, blooming effects, super-detailed surroundings during animations, light shining against objects, and the warm, realistic feeling everything is giving.

It’s difficult to explain the visuals, but they look so much more detailed, smoother, lustful, simply incredibly good, almost realistic.

The character designs are detailed, from clothing to skin texture, color, and proportions. Plenty of details that give the extra.

To shorten it all, the visuals have greatly improved in quality from the first game to the second. You don’t have to enjoy the NSFW part, but the visuals and story are truly beautiful and thrilling.

Audio
The game doesn’t have any sound effects for intimate scenes or any moving scenes, though this is unfortunate for no sound effects; the music is beautiful and truly fits in for the game by its fantasy, thrilling style.

Throughout the game you will unlock more music that will be played and re-watchable scenes.

Chapters one and two have the same music, but chapter two will have a few more that can be unlocked with proceeding with the story.

Pros and Cons
Pros
  • Story Continue & Small Recap
  • Detailed information spoken in an understandable way
  • Incredible Improved Visuals & Animations
  • Surrounding textures & Environment
  • Detailed Character Builds & Design
  • Good Price

Cons
  • Custom Name Resets To Default “Atlas”

My final little thoughts
The Seven Realms – Realm Two: Pythonium brings witches and demons into the foreplay, and the story just becomes better and more savory.

But not only has the story gotten improved, the visuals have greatly been improved and almost completely changed to a much smoother and realistic atmosphere.

I highly recommend trying Chapter Two if you liked Chapter One as much as I did. The only small error that I've encountered has been the custom name getting defaulted when continuing at chapter two.
