The game offers multiple classes and you can get all of them with no paywall. Getting loot is grindy and your going to have to do quite a lot of gameplay to max it. So Its best to focus on a set class of character because spells are not universal but for the class types. Each class type have multiple sub classes which offer more diverse playstyles. Some characters even synergize well together, which means you and your duo can do some combos while playing casually.
Everyone is always available and friendly to play pve with you.

Its main target audience is french people from wakfu, your not going to find that many that speak english.
The game is repetitive in its pve mode. Pvp is underdeveloped and empty.
Would atleast take you 500-700h of efficient grinding just to max all your items, levels, companions and spells.
I am soon to be 300h, I am not halfway but 1/4th.
If you want to play a game like this casually, its something you would do with your duo.
