✅ LIKES:
Combat is insanely satisfying – Fast, weighty, and packed with meaningful combos. Perfect parries (Sekiro-style) and dodges deliver that sweet, sweet freeze-frame satisfaction. The melee combat here is some of the best in the genre.

Boss fights are brutal (in a good way) – These battles are the highlight. Multi-phase encounters, punishing but fair movesets, and that oh-♥♥♥♥ moment when you realize the boss was holding back. No cheap one-shots—just hard, satisfying fights.

Stunning Visuals,Atmosphere & Soundtrack - Every boss fight, some locations and music, all feels like a spectacle. The game’s dark fantasy aesthetic is cohesive and immersive, with ruined castles and war-torn battlefields. Very good overall.

Respects your time – Auto-soul pickup, great and smart checkpoint placement, and interconnected levels that loop back naturally. Oh and Boss runbacks are almost nonexistent. Big yes!

Soulslike love at first sight – I’ve bounced off a few soulslikes before (even Elden Ring didn't amuse me that much at first), but this one, instant addiction. The pacing, the challenge, the sheer style—it just works for me.

Performance is very solid – Well-optimized even at launch. No major stutters or crashes, and it looks great without needing a supercomputer.

Exploration that doesn’t overstay its welcome – It’s not open-world overload, just the right amount of secrets and alternate paths to keep me poking around without feeling lost. Pretty much linear, but in a good way.

❌ DISLIKES:
Exhaustion system – Okay, stamina management is one thing, but the exhaustion system feels like it’s actively trying to kill my fun. Nothing like getting wrecked because my character suddenly forgot how to breathe mid-combo. Maybe just my skill issue, but its annoying to get used to it.

"Mission Completed" after an epic boss fight – After an intense, heart-pounding battle, that "Mission Completed" text on screen is like getting a participation trophy for surviving a warzone. A little more hype, please! At least something like DS1: "Victory Achieved" would be nice. But that's just a minor detail that detracts from the feeling after finishing a bossfight, nothing that spoils the game as a whole.

TLDR:
Despite some quirks, The First Berserker: Khazan has me hooked. It’s fast, fluid, and ridiculously fun. The combat alone is worth the price, and I’m itching to see what’s next. If a patch or some perks tweaks the stamina and summons, it’ll be near-perfect. 9/10 – a bloody good time. I highly recommend it.
