I really didn't want this to end.

They cooked

freelance police extorting and assaulting other people is ok because they are funny and cool

Only 4 hours in but this game literally covered all of the gripes I had with 2016 and then some.
Combat has strategy, the story is much more deeper, each weapon has a more specific purpose and the game looks and runs beautiful. Secrets are also funner to get in this game. There's also plenty of notes about lore.

The only flaw with the game is the way it handles tutorials, nothing kills the pace more than getting paused right before a fight, it should've let you keep control of doomguy rather than pausing the game. The handholding also gets a bit too much at some points.

This game scares me

the villains leave an everlasting impression even after you beat the game. (they're really good)
ashley is actually a good character now.
the merchant is in the game.
you can now suplex almost all enemies.
you can parry a chainsaw.
you can parry projectiles.
it has the bingo line.
and leon still says goofy one liners.

The characters and gameplay are great but the dungeons just ruin it for me, It's worse than the ps2 games lmao.
