After 2,500 hours of playing, I want to make an honest review and the current state of the game right now. This review is based on my personal experience during the time I am playing the game and my experience out of the game (The game official discord server). Here goes.

GRAPHIC
Even though the graphic for the game I would say 6-7/10 the game is still taxing for your PC. I am using a 2080 and a 9th gen i7 cpu but i still struggle to get 60fps. Even people with good gpu and cpu like the 3000 series or 4000 series still struggle to get good frames to play this game. If you are happy to play this game with bad ping and around 30-60fps average then I would say go on ahead.

GAMEPLAY
Throughout my 2.5k of gaming on this game, I mostly do player versus enemies (PVE). I rarely do player versus player (PVP) because even though I have good internet (using optic fibre) I am getting 300ms+- as I am from Asia and I asked people who play and live around my area and they do have almost the same ping as I am. For some games, even if you have high ping the game does not feel as laggy as it seems. For example, Foxhole. They have 1 dedicated server for 1 map and many people around the world play on that map but I don't feel the lag as much as I do in this game. Another thing I want to point out is that the game in steam has 2 server which are in Europe (EU1) and USA (US1). Thing is, their US1 server is problematic. Even though you are in the USA or near the server, you would still get high ping. I asked a few and said they are close to the server (somewhere in the East Coast of USA) and they still get like 100ms+-, some that is only a state away have like 250 or close to 300ms! Some players had given suggestion on how to improve the server but sadly their voices are either didn't get to be heard or was shot down by the devs. Speaking of devs and the people behind this game we will get into them shortly.

As far as the game concern, the graphic for it is not bad as they to make the game look better and better from time to time and also slowly adding more content from time to time. Problem is, they added unnecessary contents and fixed things that isn't broken in the first place. An example is they redo the map of Vesuvius. Before this the map is a bit smaller but the new map is bigger. Everyone will think bigger is better right? Well, at the early release of the new Vesuvius, the map is completely desolated. Not much mutants or creatures in the map and it feels really empty. Since the map got bigger, it takes more time to travel from one place to another. You don't have to worry about this, you can just buy the in-game stamina booster so you can run for a longer time for just a dollar! Even though the new Vesuvius is whack at least they improved some stuff for PVP which I won't say much as I don't do PVP.

Let’s talk about what I do in the game which is the PVE content. But, before I get into this I just want to say the tutorial map is a mess and if you ever want to try this game you will probably quit it before finishing the tutorial map as many other people had experienced before. Alright the PVE content. As far as the PVE content goes it is alright. They have like multiple dungeons and team PVE you can try but to do this team PVE it is very difficult. One of the difficulties is getting a team to do it. If you are a loner like me it is very difficult to do team PVE in this game. If you are in a clan especially the big one, chances for you to do it becomes higher. So as for me I don’t do team PVE much so what’s left for me is the daily quests. IT IS REALLY GRINDY. Everyday I would do the daily quests but I only do the profitable one as in give good return in money and exp and that still TAXING. If you are not into grindy game then this game is not for you.

The economy in this game is quite flexible but right now it is completely broken as there is the Christmas event that gives good stuffs which you can sell for money to other players. The devs had made multiple changes in the game which affected the economy which in my opinion right now is not so great to make money in the game through NPCs so you have to rely on the old monies with lots of money to buy your stuffs that you grind.

This game has many cheaters. Even though this game has many cheaters, the devs and the team will ban them from time to time. This ban is only to those they are able to detect only. In one of their rules they stated that players are not allowed to use 3rd party software to gain advantages in the game but some players have been using macros to gain advantages in the game but the devs and team did not ban them and did not say a word about this. Why? Because they are unable to detect or proof to ban them.
Recently, the devs and the team made a huge ban in US1. The reason? Taking advantages in Christmas event by being away from keyboard (AFK) so they can get the little reward by the end of the event. The punishment? A 30 days ban for them. Some of them pleaded to have the punishment lighten while some got mad as they were innocent but got caught in the crossfire. Some that have not online for many days even got the same punishment! In the end, the devs and team ignore them and their 30 days ban continue while some of the players that got ban after eventually ends up with 30 minutes ban or so but this did not continue long. The reason why this did not continue long is because it was just a one time ban or 1-time action. In my opinion, this is not right as the people that were ban is not playing the game for the reminder of their ban time, some other people also start to do what they did and to this day is going unpunished and if they did they probably will just get the new lighter punishment. You can see there is a huge problem between the devs team and the players.

STORY
The game story is not so great either. I would give it a 6/10 or maybe 5/10. Right now, the main storyline is still incomplete as the game is not fully complete and I doubt it will be a complete game as more and more content are added from time to time. One of the problems I encountered in this game is that the translation for it is bad. You will encounter typo or confusing instructions and direction so you have to rely heavily on the game’s wiki. The Russian language have this kind of problems too so we know where this is going.

Another problem is that the game is not fully translated. As you are happily completed this difficult quest and ready to continue the questline, suddenly the quest you just took is in Russian. You would be completely piss to know that the next quest you have to do is completely unreadable for you unless you have to use translation device either using your phone or tablet for help.

BUGS
This game has a few bugs either to the player’s advantages or to the game advantages. One of the bugs is that sometimes you will be stuck either on the floor or inside the wall or something. If you are unlucky, you will be ban, too bad. Another bug is from time to time you will be unable to shoot with your gun. The easy solution for this is to just reload the game and you will be able to shoot again. There are a few more bugs but I cannot remember much about them so I will add them if I remember or other players can add them in the comment.

Before I end my honest review about this game, I want to share another experience I had in the official discord. One day there was a guy that said something like why is the game has spyware why there is a running software in the background. The guy was just asking questions and was just needing an answer to it but instead of giving an answer the mod decided to delete it instead of answering the question. I actually wanted to ask the same thing as sometimes I saw a fast pop up of command prompt and other stuff while I am playing the game and this worries me. So, if you want to play this game. Play at your OWN RISK.
