Spent 10 hours in a row playing the game, if I didn't have work I would have spent another 10 on top of that. I can only fathom to imagine the potential this game has to offer with the full release later on in the year, and including modding support that is sure to follow!

For a free game, I would really recommend it due to the enjoyment factor that comes with it.
Understandably, fishing isnt for everyone, but for people looking into this game to play who would actually enjoy a fishing game, then I would recommend this game 100%

Yes, there are A LOT of microtransactions in this game, but the thing is is you dont need to pay anything to the game to get a good few hours of fun in. From writing this review, I'm 3 hours of game time in, and I have just unlocked a few new areas, with that in mind, and the amount of areas there are to unlock, I'd say for a free game, you can get around 30 hours of play time where it would still stay fun!
