Great game, has the potential to be one of the absolute best out there but if you havent been playing for years, the grind is simply unbearable even if you pay money to progress faster through premium time and vehicles, some of which cost as much as a AAA game.
Most of the issues boils down to decent idea, downright terrible execution, combined with egotistical devs who cannot get over their own hubris and listen to community feedback, a prominent example is the tone deaf response to players leaving negative reviews by the devs, which described it as 'review bombing' when players are simply airing their frustrations on a platform which gaijin has no control over. That was what spurred me to write this review in the first place. After playing the game since 2016 and having a majority of vehicles, i cannot recommend this game to any newcomers.
