The question is were do you start?

Well, I have officially played this game on and off now for 18 years since it was released, The Age of Empires series formed my love for history but this game in particular gave me a huge love for Mythology. I'm the type to tell people to shut up when they think the Norse gods are only from Marvel, IDIOTS!.

I loved this game so much, I used the image of Zeus from this game as a tattoo and my entire shoulder is Zeus. EPIC!.

Firstly, the campaign for this game is endless hours of fun and some slight historical accuracy. I say slight because there is a lot of magic and ♥♥♥♥. Which unless I'm in the Matrix it doesn't exist in real life.

Should you buy this if only going to play the campaign? 100% YES.

Multiplayer is a variable, In terms of the core standard game play, You may find you will get stomped by some of the hardcore players that like to use second accounts to smurf and rape your base before you can even start building an army, so it is a bit 50/50.

However, one thing the Multiplayer does have which is excellent, is Scenario's made by other players, they can provide endless hours of fun and you can enjoy playing them with or against other plays.

Should you buy this for the Multiplayer? 50% YES. If you do buy this to try out the scenarios, I would recommend any of the following, Dark Mythodea, Castle Blood, Mutation, Settlers, Temple Blood. All of which are brilliant.
