A lot of people are saying that VR is a dead market because the games just aren't there. The games don't meet the meaty content and polish of other non-VR games. Basically, if it's not as good as Half-Life: Alyx, don't bother.

It is in fact just another battle royale, but there is genuinely an insane amount of technical upgrade to the formula. They didn't JUST make VR battle royale. It feels like its own unique identity that is worth your time as an entirely new game.

While getting killed quickly and having to restart the slow matchmaking over and over doesn't feel great (get gud, i know) and the parachutes and falling from the sky without said parachutes doesn't feel nearly as fun as anticipated; everything else feels GREAT. The polish here is immense.

RUN IT ON AN SSD. Don't be toxic. Have fun :)
