Absolute garbage, not worth the free download. Movement is terrible and clunky, same as the gunplay. Barely functional buggy as hell game that has a functioning cash shop.

Nostalgia bomb! It hasn't aged well, but its still worth a try.

Don't bring a knife to a gunfight.

The melee controls in this game while being interesting are horrible. One of the features of this game is deflecting bullets with your weapon, something that is required to beat the first boss. But this feature doesn't work reliably and is incredibly frustrating when you need to block around 8-10 bullets one right after the other quickly, and then attempt to hit said boss. Rinse repeat the process and hope you don't get shot once, which causes you to restart the whole fight.

Absolute garbage. Don't waste brain cells on this.

Played the alpha years ago, it was basic but at least had good progression. This version has made things much harder and less fun. You no longer get new skills or abilities, there is little to no character progression. Your only progression is your gear, which wouldn't be too bad except gear is now region locked. When you leave the area you got your gear from it loses its stats and becomes very weak and any movement items (boat, glider) become unusable, even pets are affected. This ruins the whole aspect of world exploration. Resources are much harder to get now so its even harder to craft gear. Also, not all controls are listed in the game's menu, which I don't understand. I accidentally turned off my minimap somehow and couldn't turn it back on so I had to restart my game. Cube World had so much potential but this current version of it ripped out many of the things that made it good. The developer has zero communication skills and goes off the grid frequently, there is no transparency on what is going on with the game except for patchnotes when he tweaks things or fixes bugs.

Amazing game, allows you to play at your own speed.

This game is amazing, if you've played Chivalry and enjoyed it then get this! The combat is visceral! You can create your own classes/loadouts and customize your characters. All weapons either have an alternate way of attacking or can be thrown. You can throw a weapon at someone then rush up to them, grab that weapon back and then hit them with it.

Garbage.

The only way to get new weapons without paying real money is by crates. You get a crate almost every level from what I see and you only get a key every several levels. And unless you get different crates by getting to a higher level there are only a handful of weapons available for free. Very P2W and is too luck based. I don't even know how you get attachments for your guns, or even if its free to do so.

Like the battle royal game genre? You NEED this game! It is incredibly fun. In the end you may not win the round but you're gonna have a blast along the way and will have lots of amazing stories to tell your friends!
