Short but great!

Fun but very unfair/unbalanced at times.

A bullet hell where you can't dodge the bullets past early game. Player moves too slow, has no mobility assist like a dodge roll. And You're constantly taking on hordes of opponents that just flood the area with projectiles. A bad RotMG clone to boot.

It's literally just Rust now, but worse. Still no option for private servers.

Needs some work, would love to see more variety in enemies, but visually this game is beautiful and the combat is phenomenal!

See hostile at medium range, raise weapon to aim and fire- and your already dead.

Empty half a magazine into enemy at close range, enemy spins on the spot and downs you with 2 pistol shots.

Manage to actually kill an enemy, his teammate pops around the corner kills you and revives teammate.

Base anti-tank weapon requires all your ammo to down a single tank, good luck even surviving long enough to accomplish said task.

Unbalanced as hell and requires godlike reaction speeds to play multiplayer.

Side note: ♥♥♥♥ shotguns.

Edit: Oh yea, want to modify your loadout outside of battle? Too bad, gotta use an external website to do that. What moron thought up Battlelog!?

Incredibly pay to win and overly grindy. There are several weapons that are only purchasable via premium currency. Majority of the player base are russians, even on US servers. The game starts you with a premium trial for free, but when it ends it locks away 2 of your loadout slots. So until you pay 200k silver (the base currency, for reference tier 2 guns cost 16k silver.) you can no longer switch primary weapons in battle. Once you place an attachment on one of your guns it can no longer be used on a different gun, without paying premium to 'unbind' it. There is fun to be had with this game, the gunplay is good and the movement physics are mostly good, but theres a lot of garbage to put up with.

This is an amazing game with beautiful graphics. You can achieve many things while playing solo but it its much better with friends. If the devs added a PVE mode it would benefit the game greatly, though the community would beg to differ.

This 1.0 update has basically destroyed all the great things this game had to offer. I can not recommend buying this game, especially not at an increased price!

They removed key components that allowed for rich progression in career mode. New island generation turns a big wide open procedural and explorable world into a 100km x 125km mostly predefined box. Also removed a brilliant dynamic mission editor and spawner.

**Update**
Old Career mode with research and tech tree has been added back into the game. And a new 'test' button has been added to the new lua heavy mission spawner which allows you to forcibly spawn in a single mission without having to use a lua code. These are good steps but the game still has a lot of problems. The old mission editor and spawner was much better, it even allowed you to pick from vanilla missions to play which this new editor can not. You should't have to learn a programming language to access content that was already in the game. Also all the old missions from before the version 1 update were removed, they were super fun and less hardcore. The new first person body system is a great idea but trying to swim with the new physics of this body is a pain, you are constantly below the surface of the water and it is hard to see where you are going. The island generation is still very much predefined and islands stop spawning after a certain distance, unlike the pre-v1 version of the game.
