a sometimes frustrating but incredible experience mashing kings field style exploration and combat with resident evils style of pyschological and body horror and the vibes, visuals, and puzzles of early silent hill, presented with a heavy psx aesthetic and absolutely dripping with atmosphere and intention.
the UI can be a little jank with a controller but its a minor issue, everything works once you get the hang of it.

absolutely worth the asking price and im looking forward to the devs next project.

incredibly strange game with Insane atmosphere, feels like kings field (being made on the kings field engine will do that) but with a ♥♥♥♥ ton more disturbing imagery and obtuse/obscure puzzles
heavy on exploration and Looking With Your Eyes for a solution
jank as hell and may not run properly (the engine is from 2000) but there are community patches and engine fixes that can help, depending on your setup

a really good "budget" hades-like
good characters, great soundtrack, great art, punchy feeling combat and sound design
sucks that the dev team was basically shuttered before their work could bear fruit, i hope they can manage to come back in some way because i would love to see the team work on something with a bigger budget and less time constraints

pathetically crumbled to a minority of transphobic and homophobic "gamers" who hadnt even played the game, replacing "body type A and B" with "male and female" for literally no reason.

nobody was upset except people who thought it would be a good way to attack and upset trans people, people who literally hadnt played the game screeched about it to the games director on twitter and thats why this was changed

please release a dlc so i can give you more money

like if someone crossed thief and kings field with a bit of older elder scrolls
a little buggy at times and not finished yet of course but definitely worth the price, im enjoying the absolute hell out of it.

Edit: i am desperately in need of the next content drop, take youre time dev but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ youve made fire and i need more

been following and waiting for this for years now, just a chill game where you get dropped on an island to have a bit of a walk take a picture before moving on.
worth the price if you enjoy photography and experimental games
