I have played thousands of games in my life, beautiful breathtaking sceneries and fun action packed campaigns but none of them were as replayable and deeply complex for player setups.

*PROS*
-Cute/creepy artwork
-Fun characters
-hundreds of items to test and learn
-MODS!!!
-DLCs actually feel like expantions to the game and not a waste of money
-Difficult yet rewarding gameplay
-Fun challenges giving you rewards to use in the normal game
-Greed mode is super fun
-Top down 2.5D style is one of my personal favourites
-Enemies give off a souls-like vibe having to dodge and attack in the right moment with mechanics specific to each enemy
-The game is able to run perfectly on basically anything and is super fun if you have a Steam Deck for commutes or waiting game
-The game is very easy on storage

*CONS*
-the game crashes even without mods at the most random times (I have played on many different hardware iterations at varying levels of performance and i could not find a reason for most crashes)
-Even though there are many mods to use with a flourishing modding community once an update launches it immediately renders all mods useless
-A modding API UI needs to be added to tell you whether files are conflicting or not compatible with your version of the game to make it easier and more fun to mod
-Content updates have been very sparse throughout the 10 years of the game being out with most content being unlocked with launches of the DLCs(Mostly not a CON because both the game and the DLCs are cheap and yet packed with content and I`m just glad there aren`t any microtransactions or skins)
-Saves corrupting for no apparent reason other than probably updates (This has happened to me at least 3 times on PC even after having a copy of the save backed up it will just corrupt and start me over)
-Most DLC enemies or variants of enemies are just reskins of the normal enemies and will have you disappointed that there isn`t any new mechanics
-The game expects players to remember exactly what an item does when there are hundreds of items (I have multiple head injuries so remembering small details is mostly impossible) *Side note: Mods fix this issue informing you exactly what an item does but it sucks that we have to rely on a mod developer to make the game basically playable for some players*

TLDR-
Even though it isn`t a perfect game and it doesnt have the perfect gameplay the game gives you a ton of fun, mind racking, action filled, infuriating and yet satisfying hours of gameplay with customizability and cool roguelike gameplay and flow. I would absolutely recommend it at retail pricing and say its a must have on sale if you like roguelike dungeon crawlers.
