The game starts off a bit slow (what is not new for Yakuza games), but after some hours it really starts to suck you in and you are already on the path to this nice "adventure". The story is weighted around the topic of friendship and has some nice twist but it also feel's a bit dull sometimes what is not immediately bad.
Even though I don't like Turn-Based-Combat in other games, it felt really refreshing and sometimes even faster than fighting in the other Brawlerstyle Yakuza games.
The combat feels really nice and is really crazy, "memey" and positively stupid. The heat moves are a godsent.
After some hours of playtime you are able to change the movesets of the various characters and change the way the dynamic of the group works.
The substories are really nice and also worth to play for the rewards afterwards.
But with also the substories in mind, the game is really grindy, so you need to like this aspect in games.
Now the Music: the music literally slapped 95% of the time and I couldn't refrain myself from bobbing my head half of the time.

The game was a solid 8/10 for me and it is filled to brim with content. It is not necessary to play the other Yakuza games to understand the plot.
I really really recommend this game.
