"All those words, all those useless words". Well, in this game nothing is wasted! Everything combined it is a masterpiece. If you like point and click adventures and enjoy dystopian (almost Lovecraftian) stories you will love this adventure!
From the beauty in the pixel artwork (the opacity of the countess to mentioned one) and the changes to the statues and paintings (the mod in Act 1 was great and subtle!). The story and dialogs are fantastic; the texts in the bookshelfs and how the monologue/"thoughts" changes with the paintings during Act 2. Such amazing details and such a great story. Great amount of clues and perfect ways of delivering them. There are some really tricky secret acheivements to get also. I loved your game! Played it twice, ones for the story and second time for the acheivements.

Edit: Oh, did I not mention the music tracks. They are great as well! Buy the supporter pack; the music is available there.

I love Revolution games. This is their best Point and Click adventure game they've made in decades. It is also a much better experience than the two previous installations in the series. Highly recommend.
If you are new to the series also take a look at BS1 and BS2. They are fantastic!!

I am a big fan of the franshise; been playing the first and second game so many times I cannot count. The fifth game shows that Revolution is back to doing what they are great at; 2D point and click adventures not this buggy camera flying everywhere. I would stick to the first two games and the fifth for now; skip 3 and 4.
Let's see what happens when BS 6 comes out.

I'm a big fan of the original Broken Sword game and played it a lot when I was a kid; I leaned a lot of funny english words during that time - that I still use for the enjoyment of fellow Brits. Anyway, I digress. I played the Director's cut and Second game when the 5th game released on Apple's App Store and relived the adolescence. Great! But this third game (and fourth) is not available on the mobile devices and I understand why; the 3D-isometric view, the graphics are not as artistic as they are in the 2D-games and the controls(!) it just does not fit the fantastic point and click adventures of the first two games (and later 5th game).

However, on a positive note. The witty and funny George Stobbart does still entertain. So if you're here for the dialog you will not be disappointed.

Awesome game. If you get frustrated easily this game is for you. You won't be anything other than frustrated. While having the time of your life ofc.

It's a lovely point-and-click game with beautiful pixel art. It is created with a lot of love and attention to detail and definetly worth spending some time on. It is not that long and you can probably finish it in a few hours. And did I mention that it's free?? :)

As a Lovecraft fan I loved this game. It is a great introduction to his work as well if you take your time and find all the extra trivias hidden within each scene.

High tempo, great fun! Play it, kill some demons and remember don't leave that plasma cutter running.
