Could not really catch the fun

I loved Payday the Heist, mostly skipped Payday 2 and tried Payday 3 on release. It was quite bare requiring online multiplayer and so on.

Updates have made the game a lot better, I still enjoy playing heists by myself. I hate to be in an online lobby not knowing the map.

Didn't like it before but years after I enjoyed it thoroughly when giving it another chance

I have been meaning to play this game for years. I finally tried it after having it installed for another couple of months and was left unimpressed.

There is an argument that my 45 minutes of playtime is not enough to have a fair verdict. Perhaps the game gets better after another hour or two. With some doubt I will recommend against this game, it will be a good game to many, just not me.

GOTY 2024

This game keeps getting better. There are a lot of interesting mechanics and strategies to employ. If you are searching for an indie grand strategy in space inspired by the likes of masters of Orion, this is it.

It is not as intuitive as Armello. The gameplay is complex and simplistic at the same time.

The game becomes requires a lot of learning to figure out what is going on, there are a lot of obscure mechanics and strategies. To appreciate the game you need to clock in some hours and it is probably best to play with friends.

Still a useful and nice piece of software

Even though Ubisoft improved upon the mess it is still that.

I will be giving it a better try but so far it is exactly what I feared...

Thank you Ubisoft for the AAAA laugh.

-Encountered several bugs before the character creation
-Raytracing on by default is a little silly
-English voiceovers are terrible, switch to another language and use subtitles
-Textures continuously fade in and out
-Land movement is abysmall with bad collision
-Everything connected the ubisoft way
-Monetised everything

+I like pirates
+Shooting looks cool
+I am sure we will be proven how it could be worse in a couple of years
