This game is great. Especially for just quietly spending time with someone. Relaxing, satisfying, and calm enough that you can just yap and clean.

I haven't experienced another piece of art in recent memory that changed me as much as Armored Core VI.
The narrative, the gameplay, the overarching vision.
It made me think on a spiritual level.

While I don't think this game is as 'genre defining' as something like Slay the Spire, Localthunk have made a compelling, addictive, and innovative game that brings a whole lot to the table without getting lost in minutiae or overly complicated game mechanics.

Though wheel isn't 1/4.

This game takes the normal Yakuza gameplay loop and completely flips it on its head, instead of real time beat em up action, Y:LAD now follows a turn based JRPG esque format. but unlike most JRPG combat, you can use the surroundings and positioning of the enemies to your advantage, such as kicking a bicycle at an enemy, or using an AOE attack when they are all grouped up together. Without spoiling anything, the storyline is fairly standard for a Yakuza game, and by that i mean its very good. The side minigames are yet again extremely polished and will keep you distracted for hours. If you are a fan of the old Yakuza games and are worried about making the leap to the turn based combat, give it a try, it ends up feeling more like turn based Yakuza than anything else

I managed to avoid the radicalisation pipeline of this game and only came out of it questioning my gender.
