This is my 5th or 6th time playing XCOM 2 but first time on PC and with mods [from the Steam Workshop].
The mods are finicky, sure but it has not really diminished my love for this game which at times can be the best and worst "chess" type of strategy/tactical game around.

Solomon and Co really knocked it out of the park with this sequel/rendition of the classic trope and game play style. Played correctly, you will feel the emergent game play elements that become personal stories of triumph and loss in a war we have seemingly already lost.

There are multiple other games in this genre with a look like Marvel's Midnight Suns and the upcoming Cyber Knights Flashpoint. Each has their own flavor and personality so if you want a Masterclass in how these genres merge, there really is not a better choice than XCOM 2 Complete.

9/10 for game play, audio, visuals, and overall themes. Highly recommended!
