This game is really good AND TAKES SKILL YOU NEED TO TRAIN. And to all of those who see the bad reviews please remember these facts that might help you decide. 1) The developers NEVER got any compensations to their YEARS of effort on this game until this early access as of September 23 2022(not even on the small beta test they did in January 2022). 2) We have had ONE patch so far and all balancing is subject to change. 3) The developers have heard of the issues presented and I can guarantee they are addressing ALL of them. 4) The community so far is the best I've ever seen in ANY competitive game I've ever played or even seen. So please if you are unsure about this game or have played and are upset please consider waiting to make a review because chances are your issues will be resolved quickly. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, controls are ass and mini games are one sided 90% of the time. concept is cool but the week old ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on my neighbors lawn is more appealing

Ok, so im no stranger to vr. Ive been around in the vr community since the Oculus touch CV1. I have almost never hit a wall or any object irl. having said that, I have smashed my index controler into my wall four times since getting this game 2 days ago. Not only did it scuff the ♥♥♥♥ out of my controller but my hand has a cut on it too. Also because im a female I get chased twice as hard by M O N K E which is a built in hard mode. I am now truly a M O N K E .

This is a biased review with my own experiences taking main effect. please don't let this discourage you from trying or loving this game <3

This "game" isn't bad, not by a long shot. You can meet new people and be who and what you want as stated above. But that being said I no longer like this game. The core of it is the people you meet and hang out with 1000% but there is an issue. I feel that the community at large has become extra ordinarily "clique" based. 90% of people are only in private worlds and the ones in public's are usually children (I go buy under 18 do not interact rule in online spaces), or they are racists or something like that. This is why "good" people stay in their clique's and stay in private worlds and I cant blame them. But there is a new issue with that as a whole. I have found that people who stay in these clique's end up infighting over high-school type drama. I am not free from guilt from that. Because of all of these things I've grown a large distaste for this game, as I feel that the friends I made were superficial at best hiding under a ruse of full trust for our clique. Its happened to me; I've seen it happen to others, but I've also seen it go very well with long lasting friendship.

All in all what i'm trying to say is. This game is like a distorted real life. If you want friends, try real life. it will feel the same as this game but a little more rewarding. It seams weird but I've preferred my failed friendships and failed relationships in real life compered to this game/online. Something about real life makes me feel more human for my shortcomings and successes than virtual space.

This is still a good game and worth your time at least for a while. But just try to not make it permanent if you can. It will likely be a long time before I ever install this game again but I hope when I do its with the same passion for vr that I had when I first got my Oculus CV1.
