As a turboweeb I can't bring myself to care about any of the story. I tried to hold F through everything and check the combat out, but it's so similar to Genshin's (and literally any other gacha) that I can't start caring about it.

Lacks weight, and is balanced for the good old power fantasy crowd, where they'd jork themselves wishing they'd be Gojo Satoru instead of fixing their life.

Pay 8 bucks and play Megabonk, Balatro, or something that's actually fun idk.

As someone who's trying to escape his own country, I can attest that the game does portray escaping hell accurately.

Bought this game during sale for a few euros. I wasn't expecting much, to be honest, but since I'm studying the majority of the time I was looking for some "braindead" hack-and-slash action that will make me chill and have fun during the evenings.

I'm pleasantly surprised. First, it doesn't feel braindead at all. Probably does on Normal or Easy difficulty, but I decided to check Hard difficulty and couldn't stop playing. It's the very definition of "get good". You learn how every monster behaves so you know what to do, then they come in hordes!

Cherry on top, the matchmaking was somewhat lively and met a few people who also enjoy their salt on Hard difficulty, so we're grouping up for the long run. The Discord community while small is super friendly, helpful, and active with their own way: Issuing challenges, trials, people upload their videos etc.

All in all, I'm glad that I bought the game. It's rage-inducing until you get good and then it's not. Watch some videos around and see if you like the gameplay and grab it while you can!

Letting the game play itself... erm I mean, this game seriously gives me a huge sense of accomplishment and achievement which I totally deserve it because I'm great at clicking things to buy.

I think I'll go for the platinum trophy to compensate erm I mean to prove to my friends that I'm better than them in an auto battler. That will show them!

Hooray mobile games!

I bought it after suggestion from some chatroom. I'm not big into shmups but I used to play them.

It's the first shmup that I play where I'm hooked from not just the gameplay, music and aesthetics, but also the plot.

The only issue that I have with this game is a gimmick in the true final boss, which in my opinion is completely unnecessary and it's only there to annoy and not to motivate you to play more. The game is already very good and has replay value based solely of its quality.

I will recommend it, but if you're the type of person (aka. casual) who wants to play a game once just for the story as fast as possible and move on to the rest of his gaming library... It's a "maybe".

Spoiler-free review from a newcomer.

Now that I'm almost at the end of the game (real clock hours are 60 or somewhere close, ignore what Steam says) I have to rewrite my review. I haven't played any Persona games before. Sure, I tried to get into Persona 3 FES but I couldn't because my PC is a toaster *wink wink*.

Anyways, this game ended up being better than what I was expecting. I was expecting the "dating sim" elements to be some sort of generic trashy "senpai my butt is accidentally in your face *slaps*" stuff. What I got instead is wholesomeness, people sharing their problems and affection in non-memerific ways. It's hard for me to describe it without spoiling anything. The overall concept of the game being rooted in theory about psychology from Jung should give you a hint.

As for the main plot: It never felt slow or dragging. Maybe because I'm not the type of person who would marathon a game to finish it as soon as possible and move on to the next title, so I never brought myself to "burn out". Come to think of it, I don't have a "next title" to move on. After playing this, how do I even go back to other JRPG's like "generic medieval adventures yet again 11", "boyband in open world 15" or "Trails of imitating Persona poorly 4" (seriously, this last one stretches its plot harder than the original Dragonball Z).

So yeah, tldr is: This game is so good it ruined almost all other JRPG's for me.

Snowflakes falling on your face
a cold wind blows away
the laughter from this treasured place
but in our memories it stays.

My below minimum requirements GPU (GTX 660) somehow manages to produce medium quality picture, with the catch that the resolution needs to take a hit (1600x900 ouch).

I'm a newcomer to Mortal Kombat games, and a Dragon Ball Fighterz refuge, since Arcsys fails to deliver netcode that doesn't suck. However, I cannot comment on the quality of online here, as I don't even know how to play the game yet. Plus, there's tons of offline things to do (Krypt, towers, Story mode), and a feature called "AI battles" that makes me think I'm the only one who likes it. Sigh.

Will update if things turn sour, but so far it's been fun. Oh, and ♥♥♥♥ WB and their pricing. But can't blame them since I assume this series is a mainstream goldmine, from their perspective. I only own the base game and got it for around 16 euros, which I find to be a SUPER good price.

So far so good, recommending this. Fast-paced, simple, easy for newcomers to Yu-Gi-Oh. There's even a Discord community that has been very helpful and friendly so far https://discord.gg/duellinks

A great attempt to modernize the beat'em up formula while keeping the gameplay engaging and tactical. The soundtrack is full of bangers which will keep you coming back.

My only "problem" is that some of the unlockable characters play as if they're playing another game (because they are, duh?) and this results in turning a tactical and methodical gameplay into whatever Shredder's revenge is doing. I kinda wish I could lock people out of picking the fanservice characters while playing online.

Other than that I hope they'll keep on doing these.
