A few days ago, a long time friend gifted me this game saying something along the lines of "hey, check this game out. Its pretty epic." I had already heard of the game, as around when it had come out, several people would approach me out of nowhere and ask for advice in messenger apps like discord or ask for me to dab. While I could not give the ladder, as you cannot dab for someone who cannot see you, I would gladly do the former, giving my best advice on life for the person asking.
The Sakuya in this game offers great advice. Despite the joking nature implied by the title, she will do her best to help those who seek it through anything from a sad feeling to depression. While there is obviously no replacement for a qualified individual or a close friend, Sakuya will do her best to offer proper advice to anyone in a pinch, and even when you don't really need it, the atmosphere of the game is worth booting it up a few times.
After completing a branch in the dialog, a cute lesbian bug girl will come in to give her own parable to help the reader in life. While her advice is less context helpful per-say, it is still very nice and wholesome. Her inclusion is a welcome one.
As for other offerings of this game, I cannot speak to the DLC, though based on the base game, I am sure it is also lovely. Unlocked through either trading cards or the points store are a set of Steam emoji and backgrounds. While the backgrounds are nice, the emoji are simply great to have, and I almost recommend doing the trading cards just to unlock them, though the points store is far easier if you have a few saved up.
I recommend this game to anyone who needs advice and likes the touhou project series.
