I loved the base game for Supraland, like greatly adored it I even bragged about how good it was to many of my friends and they purchased it and all agreed! It is a fantastic game.

That being said,
I am shockingly disappointed in this DLC...

The developers posts and update notes got me so excited, It was going to be bigger, better, more challenging, more difficult, new mechanics?! AWESOME! I was so freaking excited... And yet, It was very little to almost none of the following... I was on the final mission of the game, and honestly thought I was only about a quarter of the way...
When it ended I really thought I missed something. And turns out I had. There was a full section that I never even stepped foot in. I obviously must have cheesed a section that I needed a skill or item to get though that I didn't have. - And I know exactly what section this was because it felt super janky to set up, but it was still totally doable.

All in all, I expected more. A lot more. Puzzles were very easy, honestly 80% of the puzzle was just finding where the puzzle even was. New mechanics were bland and short lived. No new enemy types (Really...?) and very few new concepts.

Buy the original game, love it! Adore it! But you are not missing much skipping this DLC.

Awesome concept, beautiful scenery and map, sadly... failed execution.

Too many bugs, not enough quality of life features.

This game is not worth it's advertised price ($24.99usd), it is still a shell. If this game was in Early Access I might give it a little more breathing room. But it is not EA, it is a full fledged "completed" game apparently, which is a flat lie.

Amazing.

This mini golf game is challenging.
Dev team is frequently adding content and fixxing any issues.
The maps are fun and creative and flooded with visuals.
Physics work as intended which adds increadible opportunities for awesome often hilarious trick shots.
Tons of custom game options to create your own experience.
Did I mention this game is challenging?

I used to think I was an amazing mini golfer....

10/10 would ruin self-esteem again.

Currently, it is a casual relaxed game with slight guidlines that need to be followed for your success. Overall this game is a great way to kill time and express your creativity.

Only major downfall in my oppinion is that the loading screens and game play is way to damn bright, prepare to be blinded multiple times unless you turn your moniters brightness down. (No way to lower brightness or gamma in game) 3:

Man this village I made is GREAT, it's self sustaining and has an average population and... wait... wait NO!!!!
.....
Well 2/3rds of my population is now dead thanks to a tornado.... awesome...

For those who actually care about a review:

Skipping all the bland details that every other review states I will simply skip to the most important part of my oppinion on Banished...

The reason I decided that Banished was not worth a positive recommendation is simply put:

After nearly 2 years of this games release, there have been very minor updates (Mind you ones that should have already been fixed before the game was even realised!); bug fixes (Holy jesus a lot!), gramitical errors, and crashes(a lot)...(I did my research)... And this thing called the "mod kit" got realsed and the dev kinda... poofed. Went from 5 updates a year to 1

Lets face it, the dev kinda dropped this project and left it to the fans to finish for him... and unfortunatly unlike minecraft and other heavily fan influenced games, there was no major fan based game saving mods created. Banished has died. :(

With such little replay value, as anybody who has gotten past the initial hurdle of surviving has discovered in this rediculiously tedious and challenging game. There needs to be more content for this game to be considered good by my standards.

That is all.

Running down hallway being chased by that creepy gothic girl from 11th grade; ya know the one that never speaks has long black hair, and you swear keeps voodoo dolls of you and everyone in the class in her witch hut hidden somewhere in the forest outside of town- yeah that one.

And I turn the corner and see the exit door, "Thank god!" and then suddenly: BAM!!!!

A cardboard cut out of a tree stump explodes from the side of the wall stopping my movement if only for a half a second and scaring me so bad I crapped out a lung.

Yeah thats right, you heard me. The cutesy cut outs that you thought were only in levels 1-50 and are supposed to be adorable and silly little jump scares. Well they stalk you through the whole game and jump out at the worst possible times...

Sneakiest damn cardboard treetards you will ever meet.

10/10 would crap out 2nd lung.
