I'm usually not one to leave Steam reviews, but the amount of negativity this is getting is alarming. I understand that it is impossible to appeal to everyone, but I believe this is not a fair representation of what Edge of Fate has proven itself to be.

In my humble opinion EoF does everything it set out to be: an albeit simple new beginning. Yes the portal has issues, yes the power grind seems daunting, and yes the camera whiplash from matterspark can be nauseating.

BUT

For one, I don't think it's fair to review-bomb EoF over Portal nonsense. As some of the reviews point out, this was a baseline change, go review-bomb the base game or something. Not only that but the portal changes have made Destiny something it has needed for a long time: new-player friendly-er. Yes all of us old farts are upset it messed with our decade-old habit. But what are the new folks saying? They are out there, I met several recently, and all I hear are good things.

For people who didn't enjoy matterspark or the puzzles, you were warned beforehand. Bungie is actually trying something different and more interesting than the shallow looter-shooter experience AND THEY SAID SO. Several times. Destiny needs to break out of it's own frame if it is to thrive, it needs to be something new, and this is a possibly exciting direction to go into. I have gotten so much enjoyment from running around in orb form to escape tight spots or surprise groups of enemies.

As for the story... If you didn't like it I don't know what to tell you. Byf himself put it as top 3 so if you got complaints you either didn't actually pay attention and are bashing something you don't understand or you don't play it for the story. It's an insane set up with a crazier premise. I am SO excited to see where we're going from here.

All in all, most folks I have heard complain are either full of crap, or just genuinely don't enjoy the game anymore and simply pretend to do so. If you want something unchanging, go back to single-player experiences, live service isn't for you. Huge round of applause to the team at Bungie and I hope to see more of your work in the future. Don't let the cesspit this community has become drag you down.

Game tell you to touch grass and that you have no b*****s. +super cool story and music, what else do you want. 10/10

Game (which used to a full release) is unpolished and unfinished. No new content and on top of that old content is missing. Severe lack of commitment and attention from KoG altogether. Here are the main points that need to change:

- Adjustments to the in-game currency value according to the reality of its regions and revision of pricing in VP items (as some of them are too expensive);
- Better server infrastructure (regarding latency/ms), and also a numbered ping tracker during matches so the connection can be always in check;
- A Roadmap with release dates for content previously available in the game, taking a more transparent posture with the community;
- Brand new content for the game, including new jobs for existing characters, new items, dungeons, quests, events, graphic overhaul regarding characters and environment, and storyline progression within Grand Chase Classic, including raising max level cap for the characters;
- Development of a more efficient tool to detect and punish hackers;
- The return of the GP store complete with every item available prior to the game's closure;
- A more simple and upfront reporting tool inside the game;
- Pricing revision on items on the Daily Point Store as well as its acquisition through login bonuses;
- The adjustment or complete removal of inventory separation between characters. The feature was extremely unpopular at its original release as it's mainly a cash grab attempt by making players have to buy real money items several times;

Good game, much scare, such wow

Cyan still sus, recommend looking into the matter yourself again. Bring more friends.

Took bulk of PvE away, too much PvP focus, outrageous pricing

Best. Game. Ever. If you're a lore junkie that is. Not to mention lots of guns and space magic.

Takes me back to the Zoo Tycoon days, while satisfying my love for dinosaurs and the Jurassic franchise, the missions are fun and the contracts aren't terribly repetitive, has managed to keep me coming back to it.
