This game is still alive.

This game was an amazing masterpiece of a game with all the mechanics and stuff (no matter how buggy they are), and most importantly, it's still fun to play. Sure you'll sometimes get matches full of hacking Snipers with bot clients and sometimes you'll get matches where there's a toxic player on the enemy team that screams racial abuse because you killed them with a weapon they don't like....

BUT! You'll almost always get a match where both teams are just a bunch of gamers having fun. You're guaranteed to enjoy the match and enjoy TF2 with them, and you may even have an expanded friends list by the end of the round.

While yes it is a shame that the Developer team for this game basically doesn't exist, that doesn't stop the hundreds of thousands of people that play this game, and it shouldn't stop you either. The game is great!
