@LaughingLeader I will definitely test out the LAN method for troubleshooting, but I know we all have the same meta file installed in the same location, so I may need to look further into it's placement as it must be in the wrong area

Try connecting to yourself over LAN by opening multiple instances of the game (in a save with enough free characters). If you can get 5+ people in the party locally over LAN, then the issue is likely that whoever has issues connecting is missing the meta.lsx NumPlayers tweak.

@Honktastic There hasn't been an update in months, so the current meta.lsx on the gist is the latest version of the file. The MD5 field doesn't matter - it's the Version being older than what's in the patch paks that creates an issue, as the game thinks your Origins is outdated then, and may try and download patch paks like mods.

You get the meta.lsx from whatever the latest patch is, if it's a patch where they updated the campaign.
