I would absolutely die for Nubby. This game is genuinely amazing. I highly recommend it if you like making big numbers bigger, and Peggle.

UPDATE: Arika updated the game to support keyboard rebinding, added borderless windowed, and have fixed the DAS bug that were all causing issues with the game, especially for me. Updating review to recommend, AND I want to still warn there is no traditional grading system like in TGM1-3. Buyer beware on that part, otherwise, it's not that bad now that the main issues are fixed.

I want to love this game, I want this game to be great.

However, it's not.

Context: I use a custom stick with joytokey for my control scheme.

The music is fantastic, and the backdrops are beautiful, and even the busy ones are great.

DAS bug making the game feel super slippery sometimes on keyboard controls, no borderless windowed option (this one has been addressed at least), no traditional grading system, no way of rebinding keyboard controls either, just all make this for a not so fun experience.

In addition to the control issues I've mentioned, there is a problem where alt tabbing can lead to inputs being dead until you restart the game. Graphics changes also aren't applied until you restart the game. It's 2025, even solo devs can handle making graphics changes work just fine without restarting the game.

EDIT: FINALLY THE WORLD CAN HELLDIVE TOGETHER ONCE AGAIN. THIS GAME IS NOW PEAK AGAIN

Was a pretty fun experience, and I really enjoyed the concept of everybody coming together to mindlessly grind for an ultimate goal, be it that the devs want to make it less fun by actually pulling a Mojang and having us decide one of two things we wanted added to the game. Not even my biggest complaint really.

My biggest issue is requiring a PSN account to be able to play the game now, as of this morning of writing this review. PSN isn't available in the entire continent of Africa and a few other countries, effectively wiping out a decent chunk of the playerbase. This decision I know wasn't going to be an easy one, and I understand devs have to follow publisher guidelines too, so I can't entirely blame Arrowhead for this. That being said, Sony is garbage for this. Requiring a PSN account (knowing that PSN has had quite a few data breaches in the past, numbers rivaling that of Facebook data breaches) while also having a borderline malware anti-cheat is basically opening a backdoor in your system. Do not buy, get a refund or uninstall the game. Do yourself a favor.

Early Access Review
I purchased this game because I saw a great Phasmophobia streamer start to play it. Stopped watching the stream just to play this blind, so I could experience the game on its own without watching anything about it. I'm glad I did that, because my goodness this game is pretty great, I really enjoy it a lot. This will be a bit of a long review, so please bear with me for this ride.

First off, I want to personally say this game has wonderful atmosphere and it kept the ghost hunting experience tense throughout the entire run on both houses for each ghost. My girlfriend likes to hunt ghosts herself, and even she said the houses atmospheres were pretty tense, and it made for a wonderful time for a nice horror game.

For the realism aspect of hunting ghosts, since I am dating someone with experience, she can give insight on how it is compared to doing it IRL. She says it's the closest game compared to IRL about ghost hunting.

The scares were great. You're not getting super loud jumpscares, you're getting a ghost that is there, and not in your face. These scares are wonderful. They will get you and you can't predict it. The game poses no danger to the player character from what I know, and frankly that is a great decision. Sometimes you don't want constant danger, or inventory management. You just want a good scare. This game does that very wonderfully! Finished the last investigation I had the night before writing this review, and I have to say that the demon coming at you got me really good. I didn't expect it to happen, and I don't normally get scared by horror games. That's how I know it's done very well.

My girlfriend and I can't wait for more content to be coming out in the next updates. We truly had a great time going through this game so far. Keep up the wonderful work devs! You've got a great game out so far!

I received this game from a friend, who says that this game was the closest thing to a religious experience in his life. After playing this game (all 5 main areas and then area X) I have to say that this game was a wonderful experience. I wish I played this way sooner. The music, visuals, simple gameplay, just everything. Everything about this game was a wonderful experience, and I can't wait to play through this in VR because my god, that will be a life changing experience. If you enjoy how the sound effects of Tetris Effect sync up with the music extremely well, THIS IS A MUST BUY. YOU NEED TO PLAY THROUGH THIS GAME ASAP

As someone with tons of hours over the past decade of playing Tetris games too much, this was hard for me to write.

PROS:

-It still has the charm from PPT 1
-O is still playable, and he is a god, you can't argue
-The music is really good, which was a nice surprise

CONS:
-A strange input delay that mostly is happening, but sometimes doesn't exist, it's strange
-Online is basically just for competitive Tetris at launch, nobody does the co-op raids together (Would've loved to have given this mode a try, but unfortunately nobody really was on it)

-It's essentially the same as PPT 1, but with some more modes and characters

Overall, after a half hour of struggling to even get close to a minute on sprint (when I normally get sub 1 minute on my sprint times) my best was a 1:20, and that's when the game decided to not have the strange input delay.

This input delay is something that you will notice that really throws you off so much, it feels like your PC was something that shouldn't be able to handle this. I myself run a 3800X with a 5600XT, and yet I can play more demanding games without input delays.

I pre-ordered this game, and this goes to show that even something as simple to play as Tetris really follows an all too spoken suggestion to stop pre-ordering games. I can't believe that we got this after Tetris Effect: Connected. I really wanted to like this game, I really wanted to like this game, I LOVED PPT1, so this truly was a disappointment in comparison.

I think that if the game gets updated soon, I will consider buying this again. Until then, I'm going to give this a 3/10, and it hurts to write this, because I'm a huge Tetris fan.

So, after playing this on steam for 2 hours, and many more on a Windows XP PC years ago, I feel as though I should write a review for this game. I'll keep this short and simple.

PROS
+Different from other match 3 games, considering the way you actually rotate a set of 2x2 pieces makes this feel different from other match 3 games
+Nice visuals
+Gameplay is fun, considering the first pro, this makes the game feel way different as well as adding a challenge, therefore I consider this fun
+Music, to me, is on the fence. The solution to this is simple, mute the game, open spotify and play whatever music you want
+Replay value, this game is a good go to for wasting a few minutes on the Endless mode
+No need for steam to track game time, you have a rank from earning starts by completing levels and challenges, so you can tell how much time you truly have wasted like I have on my XP PC. I remember being rank 189. I didn't have many other games that supported that PC
+Challenge modes can be very challenging, and make you think a lot

CONS
-Music is on the fence, Endless mode is the same track looping, so it gets very stale after 5 minutes
-Makes you realize how dumb you truly can be by overthinking a lot
-Visuals get stale depending on how long of a session you go for on this game. Although not too detailed, the colors still are pretty at night

Overall, I feel as though this game is worth your $5. I got this on sale, only because I couldn't find my CD for the game anywhere. 9/10 Would gift to someone if they wanted something simple

So, let me start the review by saying this, I grew up playing this game, but I wouldn't ever do the missions, I'd just run around and kill and experiment with weapons.

With that out of the way, let me get this review started!

As someone who played this on ps2 before, I expected the controls to be somewhat complicated on this version. They're honestly not, and easy to rebind if necessary, which I rebound a few keys, no big deal. The real issue with controls, is the RC Helicopter missions. Oh my god, these missions are atrocious as can be. If you can manage to do this kind of mission with keyboard, be my guest. If not, go for a controller. If you can't for some reason get your ps4 controller to work, look online. Google is your best friend with getting newer controllers to work on older games like this.

One of the best things about this game is the soundtrack. If you enjoy 80s music, this game is perfect for you. Driving around to (Africa, I Ran So Far Away, Raining Blood, and many other hits!) is just absolutely perfect for the setting! Obviously, since this is a ps2 era game, the graphics aren't the best. I'm sure there are mods for that. This game is one of the best GTA games out there. No microtransactions like in V, no loss of music tracks due to licensing like in IV, and more polished than III. Honestly, this isn't the best GTA out there, but it comes close. Now for the Pros and Cons!

Pros:
-Amazing setting, you will enjoy driving around so much
-Story is great! One of the best!
-Motorcycle riding is better than in San Andreas!
-Gameplay is just overall fun as can be!

Cons:
-Helicopter missions
-Little nitpicky to me, but the crosshair for guns is a bit off, it's under where your gun actually fires, and it's annoying to fire a gun if you can't even aim right without wasting a few rounds
-The cars are not as durable as a 2000s Hot Wheels, be careful speeding around!

Overall, this game is great! Despite its flaws, it can, should, and will stand the test of time as one of the greatest GTA games out there!

After playing Groove Coaster on my phone for a few years, I saw they released this game around the end of 2018 I believe. I thought it wouldn't be well done at first, how am I gonna play this on a keyboard? The arcade version looks fun as can be, and this version is a port of Groove Coaster 3 from arcades. I watched a few videos on HIHIME's channel on youtube, and I gotta say that when I first saw how they translated the controls, I was gonna have a blast! I've spent over a days worth of hours on this game, and I keep playing it. If you like rhythm games, you're going to fall in love with this game, hands down. I still sink hours on the mobile version, and I keep sinking hours into this version. They're both so much fun in their own way, there's no reason to not like either version! When I first purchased this game, it was 30 bucks I believe, it's been a while, but it's worth it. Deciga games have increased the song library a lot since I purchased this game! 10/10 would buy 3 more times!
