This game is what most sequels should be. Upgrades and revolutionizes every aspect of the first game, and doubles the playable content. The way the game's progression flows so seamlessly (unless I got stuck on account of me being bad/impatient) together made it so entertaining that I even went and got all the collectibles in my first play through. The way secrets become naturally accessible as you progress the story makes you want to collect them without even considering it. It's perfect. Also the music bangs, the visuals are insane, and besides the final boss fight I found most of the fights/chase sequences visually readable, which was great because I never focused specifically on how to progress a fight as I die over and over again during a specific sequence, I was just in the zone.

A fun time, but not a good time. The fact that this game is charging 25 bucks is insane. I bought it 5 years ago, played it recently and beat the main campaign yesterday, and was shocked at how little has changed visually/mechanics wise. The argument that it should be a higher price due to the VR compatibility is nonsense. There are better looking and performing games that offer similar experiences elsewhere. If you don't have VR, play something like Sea of Thieves for the "crew on a ship working together" experience, or play No Man's Sky for the exploration and ship piloting. If you do have VR, play literally any other VR game. Pavlov is the same price, and various other games have better VR compatability.

A really cool concept well executed. I absolutely recommend going in completely blind with this game. It was a treat. Also had a banger soundtrack. Really like the song at the end.

This game takes the simple, yet effective formula of Bloons Tower Defense and increases the complexity with 3 upgrade paths to pick from for each tower, each with a Tier 5 upgrade, as well as heroes, which come with their own mechanics and abilities. The game is incredibly addictive, however you should not let the micro-transactions ruin your enjoyment. Earning the premium currency (Monkey Money) is incredibly easy with daily challenges and levels handing it out as you complete them. Progression is smooth, and for the most part, there are always multiple options for building your defense.

I have played this game on and off for many years, and the gameplay has stayed consistently fun throughout. This game is a classic and I highly recommend anyone with a steam account to try this game out. Team Fortress 2 has influenced many other popular games such as Overwatch, and it's all down to it's iconic 9 classes with some of the most solid "rock, papers, scissors" style combat in the Class-based shooter market. 10/10 Wish Valve would update it more.
