Crack cocaine.

Intravenous 2 is Hotline Miami with a tactical twist. While I enjoyed the first one, the sequel improves upon every aspect. You can tell this game is a labor of love. It has a solid story line and great achievements. It took just shy of 36 hours to 100%, but I loved every second of it.

Combat is satisfying, and despite the different difficulty settings "True" difficulty was by far the most fun. It was challenging, but fair. Rather than crank up the enemy health it increased bullet damage both to the player and NPCs. Both the stealth and combat mechanics feel excellent, giving the game lots of replayability by rewarding different playstyles.

There are multiple endings and several ways to complete each level. Replaying the campaign is great, giving you the option to skip side missions for a speedrun or jump into newgame+ with your previous unlocks.

Overall this game has great mechanics, level design, and music. It's very polished and successfully builds upon its predecessor's foundation, making it one of my favorite releases in 2024. Also at its current price, this game is a steal.

If you like roguelikes and Left 4 Dead, this is a great game to pick up on sale. Had a bit of a rough launch but there is plenty of content, lots of unlocks, and the level design is great.

Still playable in solo if you don't have friends, but it is more fun with 2-4 people.

Worst customer support ever. Account got hacked, they changed my email on Rockstar Social Club without needing to click a confirmation link or anything, just the info to get into Rockstar Social Club. This was hacked before 2FA came out.

Rockstar support told me to F myself. I'll never by another product from them again and hope their CEO gets disabled in a bus crash, and the customer support team gets cancer aids.

Somehow runs like a dream on my i7-6600 and GTX 970 at bare minimum settings. Best CoD in ages, nice to see them experimenting with new game modes like DMZ. Even at a $70 price tag it should be easy to get 100s of hours of game play out of it.
