CS:GO Review
My favorite game PERIOD, it's also the best Competitive first person shooter of all time! What really makes this game so great is the engine the game runs on. Source the successor to GoldSrc, is not only a graphical update to the game it also kept the high fps and the ability to still be run on old crappy laptops while still being competitively viable.

I have spent 3k+ hours on a EliteBook 8560w which if you know anything about pc's it's quite bad especially for gaming (Instantly crashes every time at R6 at lowest settings) This game can let you play with all of your friends even if they only have a bad pc from 2002. I have many memories of this game and have put much work into trying to be better. The skill gap is tremendous, the difference between a person who has 500 hours in the game and a pro cs player is unreal.

The amount of Teamwork, dexterity, strat's and game knowledge(gamesense) really separates the new from the old. CS 1.6 guys who have spent thousands and thousands of hours with a team talking and sharing strat's, have now almost all moved to this game to once again absolutely destroy and dominate any new cs players who even try to climb up the ranks the top of the pros are most likely not going to be bested by a team who was-int from source just from the amount of time and dedication they have put into this game.

In conclusion this game is amazing and you can really flex how good you are because the skill ceiling is almost infinitely tall. As Well as the skill ceiling is like a cliff with multiple mini cliffs as each new skill is just that hard to be able to do consistently. Then when you have a whole team of players who have put in thousands of hours into movement, aim, positioning, economy and most important teamwork. It is impossible for any team to even win a round if they haven't done the same.

There are still sadly a very small few problems with the sdk, such as spiral stair clipping however you can resolve this with the triangle pattern. However it’s definitely not the prettiest solution. There should definitely be a new editing tool added to make curved slopes or maybe just a 4th d side chart to manipulate shapes in for the z axis. Besides that the game is extremely fair to both teams and also switches at half, just in case the map is (sided). However I feel that MM needs to copy Faceit in where first it's a knife round so that they can pick what side they want. This eliminates the possibility of a “lucky shot” costing your team the round.

However all together it is the most fair fps game of all time and is one of the best movement games out there as there are thousands of people who don't even play competitively just like to jump around (KZ) or practice long jumps, b-hops and surfing....
Not to even mention all the custom community maps and game modes you can have in the game like TTT or Hide And Seek, slender man, jailbreak, zombies and much, much more... Also there is an official battle royal mode, find something this game doesn't have. I’ll be waiting. Outstanding 10/10!

Now lets talk about the SDK to the game!
The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Authoring Tools Is simply a great mapping/ asset making/ skin making tool for the best Esports FPS game. It has brought me much joy and much understanding of the 3D world we live in. I have had so much fun In all sorts of mapping and skin competitions. It's definitely not too easy though, However if you have any experience in the source engine or in any application tools it's incredibly simple and you will learn it within a couple of days, yet it allows you to make very complex things. 10/10 Very fun, and useful! I remember the days of 1.6 mapping and Source mapping and I gotta say that CSGO sdk is the best one so far.

However with other things such as 3D modeling and procedural generation/ advanced non Euclidean geometry the source engine wasn't designed to do it becomes very frustrating with needing to use multiple layered third-party programs with multiply other programs and software on top of each just to do things that other software such as c++ or even c sharp or ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ even JavaScript can do with only a few programs, However it’s understandable as what Source lacks in the amount of possibilities the engine gives you to manipulate geometry or other things it gives you some of THE ABSOLUTE BEST in absolutely sold small-scale classical Newtonian 3D geometry.

It’s why so many good-looking things have come from the Source engine as what it does it does it damn well and I haven't found another software that can replicate such pristine and solid world building tools, at least for the very specific context that the Source engine was made to solve.
