This game made no sense to me.
I guess I'm simply to stupid for it... I click stuff, I see no pattern in stuff...

Right now I started missing the age before computer games. Monopoly, Ludo or Yatzee anyone ?

Nope, not wasting time on this one...

Oh well, I guess it could be worse. I could sit here with my old C64 loading the game for 30 minutes from tape recorder then finding out its bad.

A simplified version of Heroes of Might and magic. Kind of repedetive yet kind of addictive.
It's a free game, hard to run out of energy as there are tons of buildings refilling it (In fact I've never ran out and logged out with just about a full mount of energy every time I play). Lots of cool creatures.

I'm not good enough for reward on the raids yet but I still try them for fun (cost a lot of energy so I wouldn't recommend that part as a new player).

I like that you can upgrade cards and spells. I like the graphics and I like that you can use creature from the different factions without getting punished for having a mixed army (find your favorite creature and put it in your army). I like that it's hard running out of charges as you keep finding cards with more charges.

A game that gives a lot of play time at no cost at all but your time.

Will log in again
8/10.

It haz Glompfs !!

Nice game to check into in between other games.
Oh, and did I mention the Glompfs... They're adorable. This game is my new gem.

Started out trying to gear up and then after turning lvl 25 I get to start building on my fortress forgetting all about the main character... personal pvp, fortress pvp, guild pvp and I get to be an orc again. It's all good... finding shiny gear, getting gold, building and improving... and it's free.

10/10.

Real time strategy game where you have to wait a bit while buildings upgrade. Suits me as I'm a fan of those kind of games... I play settlers online a lot so dropping by this when it lets me (dc,dc,dc and more dc...). I'd recommend this game even tho the disconnects annoy me. I usually log on upgrade something and then log off again... I'm still a few days away from continuing campaign so this is a game I'll pop in for a minute or two every day.

Pros :
* It's free
* You get to build ♥♥♥♥.
* Campaign
* Steam achievments :P

Cons :
* Constant disconnects
(which leads to another pro kind of.... fast load time/reconnect).
* After a month or so of playing I'm starting to think the free spin is Rigged... or I have the worst RNG luck I gaming history...
* You have to pay 250 gold for a xmas tree or snowman (now that's just plain greedy).

I don't play games on my phone so I don't mind it when these simple games comes out on steam... and I actually like this one (I never played boom beach so i can't compare the two, I guess I'm easily entertained). These days everything is a rip off from something or another anyways so why care.

Kind of addictive but luckily the build times and such stops you from staying ingame for long... which is a good thing as it makes it easier to explore the other 100's of thousand games on steam.

... and it's free

Seems those gem chests keep popping up on your map every so often so you don't really have to buy gems to have fun in this game.

Anyway, I like it.

There's a lot I love about Tree of Life. The fact they obviously know what came first, the chicken or the egg may not be one of them... tho it was nice to know that 20 seconds after I killed one off, another spawned... no eggs involved.

Tree of life is a very grindy game... the fact that my mate stopped playing after 2 days just because there is no end game doesn't matter to me. I've been at it for a few weeks now and I'm still at the copper stage of the game. I'm to busy making arrows to fly through the levels (gotta protect the camp against the night life of skeletons and angry zombies).

I like that you learn new tools, weapons and buildings as you gain levels in the different skills. I've always been a grinder... it's pretty much what I'm known for by friends. Starting out with WoW then Rift then Guild Wars 2 then Rift again and Ark.. now this. I'm still months away from even bothering thinking of anything besides grinding so for me this game is pure relaxation and gathering of resourses. I dread the day they reset or even worse if they decide that Europe isn't worth the effort (as this game is pretty much dead on the EU server... and I actually like that fact as I'm not much of a people person. No lag, the only downside at the moment is that at times the game shuts down due to a client.exe freeze... tho it's not that annoying given the game loads very very... very fast compared to other games i play).

It would probably be less of an effort keeping the camp safe if I had more team mates but it's ok. It's not a game you can slack in the way you can't be asked doing anything like building up your character. If you don't do nothing and have the rest of the guild gather stuff... you'll simply fall behind. Sure they can make you weapons and armor so you can go fight creatures. but I'm sure if that's the aspect of a game you like.. this one ain't for you. Me on the other hand... I love this, the atmosphere, the music, fishing, building, gathering and crafting. It's my gem.

Very addictive. I guess I'm just a sucker for big number that keeps getting bigger.
I even like the soundtrack... does that make me weird ? I don't care, I like it. Kind of brings me back to the C64 and Amiga days (yep, I'm getting old).

Mars just got released so now I got even more moneymaking to do... Hopeful to see my businesses expand to Jupiter, Saturn and Neptun in the future...
