I get to hunt dragons for phat lewt
It's free
It's grindy (I like to grind).
It has cool heroes and monsters
The events and rewards are exciting.

yep, I see myself spending quite a few hours in this one. Glad it's out on steam as I can't be bothered with games on my phone...
