This game is 20% Star Trucker, but 80% Annoying Space Mechanic.

If you expect this game to be like Euro Truck Simlator 2 or SnowRunner in space: This is not it! I was really looking forward to this game, but honestly: I am disappointed.

Longer review:
A lot of the time you are occupied with replacing batteries or other broken parts like UCCs or air filters. All of these die way too fast. Shops often don't have enough to fully restock, so you are constantly on the hunt for more spare parts. This is not fun!

The prices for spare parts and better batteries are way too high. This is not helped by the fact that the trucking missions pay way too little money so you are constantly broke. You can upgrade your truck, but that is expensive and it only marginally increases things like fuel efficiency by a few percent or taking a bit less damage.

There are too many bugs as well (I have reported 10+ bugs so far), so right now you are basically paying to be the dev's beta tester, which is absolutely NOT acceptable!

if you want to playthrough and 100% the game, be ready to grind for days (if not weeks!). I have played 21 hours so far and just barely reached "fly 500 miles". There is an achievement to "fly 2000 miles" so this should give you an idea how many hours you have to grind mindlessly constantly replacing parts. It just is not fun to do that for such a long time.

The game could have been great if it was 90% trucking, 10% space mechanic, but it is not. There is too much wasted potential and it is sad.

I can't recommend the game unless the devs rebalance it majorly and improve several things: Batteries and other parts are drained/broken much, much slower. Better pay for missions, lower prices for spare parts, spare parts always available in stores. More missions available to choose from. More variety in missions.

If you still want to play, I recommend to NOT play with the "recommended" settings, because they suck! It would be great if you could change the game settings after you started playing, but right now you cannot. I don't see myself playing everything all over again, but if you start, choose "custom" settings and turn mission rewards up, prices for parts down, damage and things breaking down etc.

I wish this game was fun, but it isn't. If you try to do the achievements for this game, it just ends up being a frustrating experience overall. I cannot recommend this game to anyone.

The game is based on the current Ukrainian war against the Russian invasion. You play as a Ukrainian drone operator who is stuck behind enemy (=Russian) lines. Your goal is to fight and find your way back to friendly lines.

Great little game. I enjoyed playing it a lot.

You are a regular janitor at the beginning, working the day shift in an office just trying to pay rent. Unfortunately, the CEO decides everyone needs to work night shift. But because you are a werewolf, you become a monster at night. You can't prevent murdering your coworkers if you are in the same room for too long or in direct line of sight, so it becomes kind of a puzzle game trying to avoid them, but also cleaning every mess as fast as possible.

The achievements consist of finishing all 7 levels (all located in the same office, but some paths are blocked at the beginning), gathering collectibles, doing levels/tasks in certain ways, and speed running every level. It is a great practice for achievement hunters imo and also fun.

I really wanted to like this game, but I can't. I played and enjoyed Elden Ring for hundreds of hours, but this game just doesn't click with me. The gameplay gets stale, bland and boring early on with no change further down the line in sight. I had to force myself to load back into the game to progress and that just is not fun. I can't recommend it.

I really liked the idea of bringing back nature to a wasteland. The videos I watched before buying the game, described it as very relaxing and calming. While I agree that there are no hectic gameplay features, I find the limits of what you can build via the leaf points rather restrictive. It forces you to play each level in certain ways.

Each level is basically a puzzle of how to maximize the leaf points within each phase. If you don't play perfectly, you may run out of leaf points forcing to start over, throwing half an hour of progress into the trash, because you messed it up slightly. I don't want to attempt each phase or level multiple times just to get it right. The experience feels very limiting. It just is not fun.

I'd rather spent my time with games that value my time and give me a rewarding experience rather than a frustrating one.

I regret that I bought the game. I played a lot of Kerbal Space Program and loved it, so I thought I might like this game was well. I really liked the idea the game is proposing, but how things are implemented it just isn't fun to play. The learning curve is so steep, you might as well just study engineering and ship building in real life and built a real boat.

The game and its tutorial explains almost nothing and you have to completely rely on 4 year old tutorials on youtube, that aren't up to date anymore because the game has been patched and updated a lot since then.

There aren't any real goals to work towards to except the goals you set for yourself. The game is the definition of a sandbox in its purest but unfortunately also worst form. It doesn't even have achievements to make things more interesting.

You either unlock everything from the beginning and are overwhelmed from the many options in the vehicle editor or you play classic mode but then it takes hours upon hours doing boring missions mindlessly to unlock enough stuff to be able to built a floating potato, that can't do much at all.

The systems and ways how to build ships are overly complicated. While building rockets in Kerbal Space Program is not easy, Stormworks puts things on a whole other level of making things unnecessarily more complicated than they should be.

The builds you see posted online and on the workshop are not a representation of what you will be able to build at the beginning. These posts are coming from players with hundreds if not thousands of hours of experience. If you are not willing to put that many hours in, then this game is not for you.

At the beginning you will only be able to download ships from the workshop and play around with them. While there is some fun in that, it is not what I bought the game for.

If you still want to buy the game, then at least wait for a major sale. However, I cannot recommend it.

I now have 244+ hours playing this game and got 100% of the achievements. I unlocked everything that has been released up until this point. I am maxed out on medals, samples, everything. I bought every premium warbond with Super Credits. I spent Super Credits to buy additional armor from the Superstore. I have 2k+ Super Credits in my account to be able to buy the next two warbonds when they release.

That means something.

This game now forces you to link to a PlayStation Network account. I bought it when they did not require a PSN login and I did not exxpect them to change their mind. I don't own a PSN account and I don't want to get one. I do NOT recommend to buy this game.

Cons:
- Game crashes from time to time which causes you to lose progress.
- There are also black screen freezes which do the same.
- Missable achievements: You have to do multiple runs, if you missed any of them. There is no chapter select.
- Story is very predictable. There is a lot of implying and "it"-calling instead of saying what is meant.
- Gameplay and story are slow. Cutscenes are unskippable (which is very annoying in the second playthrough that becomes necessary if you missed any achievements the first time...). Nothing can be sped up. Walking is slow etc.
- Character are all one-dimensional and therefore boring. ("Big oil bad, hm-kay?")
- Story and gameplay are on rails. You have no choices throughout the story.
- Not scary enough to be a horror game. Not interesting enough to have a compelling story.
- Quick-time-events.
- Underwater-walking-simulator, but not much else.

Pros:
+ Environment and looks of the game are oriented to look realistic.
+ Beautiful world.
+ Exploration is kind of the only thing that keeps this game afloat in the first playthrough.

Conclusion:
It is an okay, first attempt for a new developer, but overall it needs more polishing. I don't recommend it as of now.
Patches and updates might fix some of the most glaring issues, but that is pure speculation at the moment.
