The single-player aspect of GTA V is outstanding with an absurd amount of content. I completed everything except finding the missing letters on console, messed around a good amount and racked up around 7 days of playtime in single player alone.

Multiplayer on the other hand. Well, it's a mess at times, with the occasional hacker who may make your life hell or not effect your gameplay almost at all.
For the love of god don't buy Shark Cash Cards as they get you very little for your money, and grinding out online is a much better - yet incredibly slow - process.

This game is still great 4 years after release, and for a full value of - currently - £25, I'd say it's well worth it, if only for the story alone.
