This game is pure, (almost) mindless FUN. It's easy and quick to install, it has 5 difficulty levels ("I'm too young to die!" all the way to "I'm too pretty to live") each with different weapon drop tables, over 90 missions as well as DLC mission packs, the corniest dialogue, four different classes to play as with unique play styles, and GIANT INSECTS FROM OUTER SPACE.

Ever wanted to panic slightly as you see a wave of ants flood over a distant mountain, keep coming, and keep getting closer, while you have a forest and a harbor in between you two? Ever wanted to fight Godzilla on foot as some dude with a machine gun? Ever wanted to soar above those silly giant insects because they can't fly? Ever watch Pacific Rim and think it was cool?
