Loading into the menu and hearing Frank Klepacki's style of music was enough to make me smile. Remembering my childhood playing Command and Conquer. This takes what was good about Command And Conquer and makes it work so well. It removes what doesn't work well. This game shows what EA could've done if they didn't make C&C 4. If you don't remove base building.

I played this on my first run for 6 hours straight and then I did another run. My time flies when I play this because it's so much fun I forget to check the time. If you love Command and Conquer this is a MUST have game. Slipgate Ironworks have a great game with great visuals and a intresting story. I cannot wait to see what comes next!

A good game about shooting people and doing tasks. You don't need long to enjoy this gem. Just expect to die randomly.

My only complaint is the leaning controls suck... They could do with some polish.

Even when my PC surpasses the Recommended specs I still get lag spikes. Dropping to 5-10FPS and having to restart the game to fix it.

This game doesn't act like the old STALKER games as the game now revolves around the player instead of the Zone like older games what is very upsetting.

Even after the Balance update (1.0.1) the mutants are still eating mags of bullets. Some enemies can instantly one shot you and if you're out matched you'll be spending more time in cover healing than trying to fight back to escape.

But at the end of the day... I LOVE this game. I hate it's not STALKER but I love this game. It's story. It's character. I can recommend it!

Metro is my favourite game series of all time. Always has been since I played Metro 2033 Redux what was my introduction. I loved it so much I chased all copies of the game. So when I heard a VR version was being made I hyped. I love VR and exploring my favourite series within the Metro is one of the greatest things I could've ever have had and I wasn't upset within playing this title.

This game has the Metro Storyline. But overall it doesn't feel like a Metro game and this is the reason why Paradox of Hope was taken down even though I feel like they both had a place.

If you want me to sum up the game. It's great and worth playing. It does have a few bugs that can be really annoying. Like loading into a level nearly 3ft smaller than you are. I tried to see if this was my tracking but restarting the game (And no adjusting the tracking) seems to fix it and this bug was also fixed for other headsets. So if you're on Index you might become smaller and need to restart your game unless you want to be the worlds fastest Gnome. Other bugs is the game loading at the worst of times and nearly crashing you even with high end computers. Everything else however were small bugs that weren't that bad like Visual bugs or clipping. Standard bugs found in every game.

Gameplay
The gameplay is like most VR titles. You can snap turn, Pick up objects and do whatever you normally do within a VR Title. So changes from the base game I like is a headshot is a one shot kill. In Metro I always went Ranger Hardcore to have that same feeling but here I didn't have too. Thought I did change the difficulty to normal because the stealth system honestly had a downgrade. Stealth is much harder and even when in the shadows you can sometimes be spotted by the enemy. You also don't get a quiet weapon until around the half way mark making the only way to get past quietly is back smacking enemies what feels good when it works. Other times they turn around and gun you down because you didn't smack them hard enough somehow. Melee is most likely the only jank part of the game.

AI
Other than sometimes having a hard skull the AI can be either a trained assassin or stupidly dumb. Watching bandits run back and fourth just to try and get an angle on you even though they're right infront of you.
Mutants are a lot better in this sense though They attack one at a time (Expect Spiders) what confuses me is Lurkers can survive more bullets than the nosalis and honestly get annoying until you unlock the shotgun. The Spiders are nothing like the other games. They have no issue with light and crawl all over your screen and are a pain in the backside to kill correctly. They take bullets but crawling all over your head is bad. I do like the fact that you have to grab them and throw them off though. Anyone scared of spiders will have a horrible time with this.

Map Design / Art
The art style is using 2033 Redux as a base. I don't mind this expect for the fact they use some player models from Metro Exodus. This is a clash of a very Modern style with an old style what really doesn't mix well. The custom models are fine for the most part but honestly. They also made new models to be more up to date what does start to clash more. Honestly I wish they kept to one style and didn't clash different models together because when it uses one model only it's really good and fits.

**SPOILERS AHEAD!**
Weapons
You unlock the Pistol being the Tokarev Pistol what is honestly a nice touch since you hear about it in Exodus from one of your comrades.
You then unlock the AK what is a lovely rifle and always will be a part of Metro.
The next weapon is the Hellsing being in the bow form and not the 2033 & Last Light form that I don't mind.
Then we get the Shamber shotgun. What feeling it in VR made me so very happy.
Then we get a blowpipe. It's uhh... Strong in the AI hands but honestly I cannot figure out why you would use this over the Hellsing since the Hellsing is just way better in the use case.
Suppressed Tokarev - I am counting this as it's own thing because of how strong it is. It allows you to kill whoever with a headshot in rapidly without anyone knowing you just dropped like 4 people.

Story
This is Khan's backstory. You learn it's "Khan" from his voice and the intro level, but tells you about who he is and how he became who he is. This honestly was great to go through. Hearing about how the ghosts work and how Khan knows them well. Singing pipes and how Sardar becomes Khan.

Who doesn't love Halo ODST's newest DLC! :D:

EDIT: I am honestly amazed by how well people came together to complete the Major Order of beat the Automatons back from Sony HQ. Well done Helldivers!

It's not often you can listen to the AI and plan your moves based on what they said.

Based of FEAR level AI. With no one trying to match it makes this game a super underrated gem.

Good Story
GREAT Gunplay
Smart AI
Everything you would ever want from a game. With no bugs expect one I encounters and that was the bindings take a little to update since I changed them. But it's super minor and didn't ruin the great fun I had.
