As a big fan of id Software FPS games (Doom/Quake) in the 90's, Half-Life just blew me away the first time i played it back in 99, what an amazing FPS experience.

Below is some features of Half-Life that stood out for me at the time when i first played it.

- Immersive storytelling (No cutscenes required)
- Great level design
- Excellent graphics and sound
- Unique weapons (including a laser guided RPG which follows your crosshair!)
- Enemies of all types (Zombies, Humans & Aliens)
- Advanced AI (including roach ai)
- The HEV Suit
- G-Man
