Early Access Review
This will be my review for now since this game is in Early Access. Considering that they will improve the game soon.
For now the game is just P2W. Why ?
because you buy germany. you get big bertha. and an OP tank.
You buy russia. You get katyushas (rocket trucks) which is easy to make and op af. Make just 20 of them and there. instant win.
The other stuff you can buy is just useless nations who doesn't give you any advantage. which is just a waste of money since the others do.
You don't buy a nation ? you get regular stuff.
What about the players who doesn't want to pay the game ? who doesn't have any money to pay for games ?
will they get perished by ones who can spend hundreds ?
i know your game is free and developers needs to get paid. But this is not how it works.
You can't make a game free but make it pay to win.
Period.

Empire Earth gave it all to us for free. You know, when games were finished and not a drag for steady revenue.

Light knights and Legionnaires are OP. Base defences need more work, the towers are utterly useless against units. I had stone towers against Legionnaires from a wood nation and two of them managed to destroy my tower. At least if we can defend our base we stand a chance.

it still takes time and rescources to even use the nations that you pay for meaning that they are only OP if you let them advance to the late ages, as of right now, the early stages and middle stages are kind of balanced, how you manage your economy in any RTS is the key to winning, there are still counters to the bought nations, so idk kinda feel like you're just upset abought buying things in the game, these could essentially be considered DLC.

it kinda is p2w but you can get all the nations by playing good and getting them for free via the points you get by playing well... but i do think you should get more points each game bc its kinda grindy to get the points you need

but i agree that there should be more ways to counter units.... it should be like in aoe3 where its unforgiving (the countersystem of sc2 and aoe2 are a joke in comparison to that of aoe3)

when you played about 10 matches you can unlock russia or germany or any other nation.
every nation has his cons and pros, so no nation is useless
